I totally have the new album pre-ordered! Feuerschwanz had a huge ammount of development in the past years, and their music grew and grew (in MY opinion) better! Even if I really loved their older songs, too. And still cheerish them. The second Singer "Hodenherz" (Hodi) Also is the Singer for D'Artagnan. He really has a great singing voice. A bit different kind of Metal, but tied to Feuerschwanz, due both Bands are formed in the same city: "J.B.O." they recvently released "Metal was my first love".

Great reaction. I'm a big fan of this band and have had Untod Im Drachenboot on loop. This time we have Hauptmann doing the main vocals. He and Hodi have very different vocals but it comes together nicely. New drummer Rollo is doing a great job. Shout out to Musch-Musch for looking so badass in the video! Great stuff. Got the box set ordered. Can't wait.

He's doing a great job of looking good while drumming, but didn't do the actual drumming on the album (because he joined the band only after they had already recorded the tracks).

I like that they have all "updated" their outfits, they all look more badass now.

I love the way they often have a quieter moment with just the voice and suddenly go into full chorus, Untot Im Drachenboot is a good example.

I totally agree with everything you just said mate. I got into Feuerschwanz about 2 years ago and heard the odd track by them, but the most recent album and the upcoming album has proven that they’ve gone from strength to strength and just keep getting better. It doesn’t even matter if you don’t speak German as the songs are so multi layered and have such awesome choruses and such a catchy hook that you can’t help but get them stuck in your head. Plus every cover I’ve heard them tackle has been fantastic.

I rarely know if I like a song after one listen, but this was an exception when I heard it yesterday, and it has only gotten better in the 10 or so listens since then. I find some parts of the song so epic-sounding, and I'm still getting goosebumps each time I hear that build-up to the first "Memento Mori" after the guitar solo. I hadn't heard about the covers on the new album, but as Ghost is one of my favorite bands, I'm now even more excited for it. Thanks for the great reaction!
