This is great. Incredibly happy and thankful that Fever Ray has shared this experience for us all - its wild, unpredictable and a beautiful evolution to watch. With every new video and piece of information presented in this project, I dig deep looking for clues and context to the imagery to unravel the mystery of this story. A powerful tool that few artists possess, and Karin does it immaculately. Bravo.

Imho Karin is the housekeeping partner here. This song is about how society cuts your arms and legs off as a mother/father to entertain your partner when he/she comes back home from work in the evening taking all you have to offer for granted (margaritas ante porcos). She then just breaks down in the end and stands on the table like a piedestal in the middle of the room, triumphing over the partner like victory over herself and the partner, ending it all and ready to move on.

This is what I got from the videos (parts 1-5), the author's idea and vision could easily be entirely different. I apologize in advance for my English The witch, the character played by Nadja, is bored, looking for contact, so she wakes up Karin's character. Karin has been in a dormant state, frozen, and when she wakes up she is found by people that open her to new possibilities, she enjoys that sex orgy. But the witch then kidnaps her (brings her back from the moon) and makes a servant out of her. Karin tries to serve well, entertains her, however the witch still acts bored and uninterested. Karin flips out, she is annoyed by such behaviour (You're not curious // I don't think you should hang with us), this life is not for her, cause she wants things to be her way. She tries to stir the witch, but instead of making it better, they end up fighting. And although Karin's character tried to make it work and be happy in her position, she is still glad when the witch, defeated, lies down on the table, because she knew she had to let go.

Karin Dreijer to Stereogum: "So it starts with one character writing a personal ad and then the second character that we still call just, “The Monster,” is answering this ad. They meet up in the first video. There’s also this other characters in the video that is at this venue or club or whatever it is that they’re eating at. I think the story will continue. You’ve seen the “Wanna Sip” video, and that is sort of when the Monster and the first character is trying to create some - what do you call it - twosome relationship. Monogamous relationship."

This song is at the moment used in American teenage tv series Skam Austin. Hilarious when the teenagers will come here to listen to the soundtrack Their reaction to the video? Not exactly Beyonce or Justin Bieber. It's great that the youth get the opportunity to see provocative arty stuff. Hopefully they will embrase fever ray.

My favourite character in the saga is the witch (I think she was more misterious in the official audio loop pink image) but you can tell it is not Karin playing it in the video, she needs to be both!!
