Great interview. Temi is terrific!

Temi see her teammates aren’t playing as a team. Certainly players aren’t passing to eachother. I see other teams having assists but the fever seem to have less. CC does her job passing to her teams. All the games, I have seen. They have been double team CC. I have to say, Temi and CC has been a great connection. Keep up the good work Temi.

Fagbenle is Clarks new Hannah Stuelke. Fagbenie is more of Clarks playstyle than Boston is. People say Boston and Clark will be a deadly duel but Fagbenie and Clark newest duel.

It is magical to watch Temi can CC playing together, if the rest of the team can learn to jail and play together as one as them two, they will be very hard to beat.

Temi and Clark have chemistry, Clark should run the ball and Mitchell should learn to pass the ball.

This was their 3rd full practice since season began. Crazy.

Fagbenie said it best. 7 games in 12 days is a crazy start. Against Almost all the top teams twice. Sun and Liberty. Then ending with the champs. Although the schedule was made before the draft. WNBA knew Clark wuld be number 1 one pick. Hense the Fever opened the first two weeks of the season with the most games. Most on the road against the best teams. They used caitlyn clark affect. To sell out games and to get the best teams and best players on TV. So give not just clark but the whole fever team a break. They are done wit the hartest part of their schedule now.

Fagbenie is a blessing to this team and brought out key ingredients that are also crucial to success: having regards for one another, choosing to work as a team instead of one’s individual preferences, and readily getting over issues that can harbor and set one back. Where we often as fans just look at the end product of what we see, she brought out the needed character traits that solidify a team and over time can create a winning legacy. So glad she reiterated the fact that the team was fatigued yet hung early in the game to prove how they can match strength for strength when at their best.

I came here to the Fever to watch Caitlin, BUT... I fell in Love with Temi, Mitchell, Wheeler, and Wallace. Everyone is so fun to watch!

No, Caitlin does not need to go to another team nor does Christie Sides need to be replaced. That would actually make it worse in my opinion. We need to trust the process. And I have watched and went to WNBA games since the inaugural season.

Coach Sides seems to only be able to work within her own system, which isn't working. She has already hurt Clark -- so obvious she is telling her not to shoot or doesn't have her running the floor. She doesn't play the most effective players together and sits some of those same players when they are playing hot. The only game they won, CC was herself, and in basically the entire game. Coaches are blowing it as is the entire WNBA. For example -- With the schedule and travel that they have compared to the ACES as an example is so unfair.

I don’t think Mitchell will ever come around, we need to put Celeste in at swing to be her best version of Gabby, Katy Lou can be Kate Martin and Lexi hull to be Syd Affolter! Temi is our Hannah

Tbh, I don't know why the Fever is as bad as it is now. Maybe its the teammates not anticipating CC's passes, but the team definitely took a step back when Sides started panicking at the start of the season and making quick changes that actually made it worse. Now that the team has settled down and practice at home, they should install new plays. Their playbook is pretty bare with setting high screens and pick & roll. Add more passing the ball around more and iso plays with Kelsey or CC. Have other players spot up and rotate ready to iso or shoot 2s / 3s. Focus on starting quick at the start of the with either 3 guards (CC, Kelsey, and Kristy) and both Temi to run with CC and AB. Slowly transition into more standard AB, Nalyssa, and Katie Lou in order to get more stops till the end of the 2nd quarter. Start the 3rd quarter quick again or flip the rotation starting slow then end fast. Incorporate Celeste at the end of the 2nd or 4th quarter whenever you need stops for a period of time. Don't always rely on AB setting high screen for the pick and roll as she will need to dribble towards the basket if they double CC. Have AB kick out more to Kelsey or Katie Lou / Kristy to either drive or shoot 3s, as defenders will crash down towards AB. If Sides can't develop the team, then she needs to go. Sides is too rigid and calls out players too much without incorporating plays.

Temi and CC are a much better match up that Boston at this point. She’s almost never in position to receive the ball and misses way to many shots right around the basket

I wish Caitlin could go to a different team. If Sides is going to limit her production and try to change her game let her be learning from teammates and a coaching staff that has had more success. I like Temi tho, they have a real connection.

I'm looking forward to the whole team finding those things they can do, like Temi has over the past couple games, to really take advantage of the things Clark does well. Finding those opportunities in transition, and finding those unexpected angles in half court sets, where a good passer like Clark can find you for a bucket. At least once a game CC and AB will run the P&R and Caitlin will thread a great pass between the defenders but AB has already pulled up thinking she's completely defended. Naw, keep going. This team has so much potential, it's a joy to watch them even though the wins aren't materializing yet.

There is a lot of hating and adverse comments toward CC on a few websites. So, I decided to check the statistics. On the WNBA official statistics chart CC is 18th. She is the only Rookie out of the first 30 players on the list. The top scoring players are averaging 30 shots a game. CC is averaging half that many. Her average.is 15.5. The leading scorer is only averaging 30.5. pts per game. She has also played 3/4 the number of min. per game as the top 10 players. She is only 4 rebound and assists behind the top 10 players. She is second from the 3 pt. range. Finally, the top 10 players play on the 4 best teams. Not too bad for CC playing on the worst team in the league. Now what can be done to improve her situation? Maybe find 1 or 2 enforcers whose role is to hammer the opposing players going after Clark. Most contending teams in the NBA have such a role player. Next, she should be playing the Shooting guard. Thats what brought her to the dance, shooting. Let her SHOOT. In addition, until they sign a Pippen type player, maybe Kelsey and another addition, CC should shoot 20 or thirty times a game until she gets MORE help.
