I moved from Australia and lived in LA for 10 years. Everyone has their own preferences obv, but man unless you're making bank, LA really sucks LOL. Cost of living is just wayyyy too high. The pollution and traffic were also huge negatives for me. I do sometimes miss the "touristy" stuff (concerts, disney, griffith, universal) but I was never doing them every day - or even every month. I much prefer it up here in WA now and just visiting from time to time. Curious to see how you feel about living there, but honestly I feel like you'll want longer than a few months to really get the feel of it!
