Dodging in the off center square is more optimal because not only do you stay closer to the boss allowing you to max melee. It also makes it easier to dodge the room cleave right after.

I noticed I couldn't use the melee combo when I was running on RDM the previous week when I went to the corner tile, so that makes sense! Something about playing BLM just makes you stubbornly refuse to move.

@@AoyagiMei when you play a caster staying at max melee range is a good idea. It keeps the boss in range for your spells even if the tank has to move the boss away and it also makes it easier to stay in range when you are dodging. The only jobs that should stay at max range are aiming jobs since they don't have casts and can move while attacking.

The only thing that outright kills is overlapping the spreads that give water resistance down 😂
