FF4 Advance: Edward vs. Dark Bahamut

Edward is left with the task of slaying Dark Bahamut after he wipes out the rest of the party. Which is perfectly fine, they were all useless anyway. Zeromus should have planned for Bards.
Edward's equipment is just the stuff you find in the optional dungeon on Mt. Ordeals, if anybody was curious for some reason.
The sound desyncs slightly like halfway in and I'm not fixing it ever.

As a matter of fact, actually Edward is faster than Edge at high level.

True. I played the living hell out of the Gameboy Advance version, and they really balanced all of the characters. It was actually silly how he had the highest Speed Stat during late game. Plus, he had those other bard-ish abilities like the hide command and the shared healing whenever he uses items.

My yaw dropped at Edward's damage. Was not expecting to hit for that much at all. Also I giggled. This video sums up how most solo strong enemies in MMO's - by running away and hiding out of sight when they try to cast a spell ^_^

Edward: *reappears and hits like a tank with apollo's harp* DB: OW! You little sh*t! Flar- *Edward hides* DB: Dammit! *Edward comes back and hits him again for massive damage* DB: OW! Again?! What kind of weapon is that? I only need one Flare to connect. Edward is the strongest party member when you train him right! His appolo hard straight pwn. Strong againts BOTH undead and Dragons (it always 9999's dragozombies) hence the fact that it hits for 7k on Dark Bahamut.

I have never seen a character time gauge fill up so quickly! You must have something equipped that makes your agility skyrocket. Incredible!

I always thought he was going to rejoin the party in Troia to get the Earth Crystal. In the SNES version, by the time Edward hits LV 20, he's doing Cecil-type damage to enemies. He actually turns into a powerhouse fighter. Sadly, by the time you reach that level, you are at the point right after the events of Fabul.

If you hit level 20 with Edward on the SNES version you wasted time on overleveling for absolutely no payoff. Lol

Wow! I can't wait to try the advance version! i know nothing about all these extras and changes. I guess you are experienced at this version of the game? Maybe you can explain some of the differences vs the SNES version?

And then, another thing. I wonder why these extras are not in the DS version. I remember when I first was introduced to role playing games, FFIV for SNES was the first and i was so psyched to get it myself. I don't think I ever got so excited over a game like that in a while. I got almost as excited when i heard that FFIV and FFVI advance game out with these new features.

I always knew he had potential as a fighter. I never understood why the original version on the SNES didn't allow his use towards the end. With the Advance version out, i will never again touch the SNES versions except as collector's items. I have tried the FFVI version, but have not tried the FFIV one. I look forward to it.

Edward is the best kind of joke character: The kind that seems weak until you invest time into them and not only improve their stats but also learn to fully utilize them making even some of the strongest bosses effectively joke characters themselves.

Inverno Estivo yes..after the giant of babil arc, cecil, edge and kain (rosa and rydia are hiding in the exit of lunar whale) will venture the moon for the final battle. Then there will be a brief scene between physical hitters and rosa/rydia. After the party exits the lunar whale, a namingway will appear on the right exit and will tell you that you can now change party members in the manor of prayers in mysidia.. Ps: after changing party members for first time (or if any), there will be a sidequest for cid, twin mages, yang and edward which they will be able to get their, if not, ultimate weapon at mt. ordeals

I know where it is. it's where you least expect it... (Don't ask me exactly where because I don't remember... And don't feal sad. It tok me till after I beat Zeromus to actualy find it)
