On top of that, we are getting NEW TOWERS added for us to challenge in something called the Coliseum of the Chosen!!!

Thank God for these data mines. I was looking to use my stamina on something. Last time we got one of these I burned through all it. And I had more stamina than I knew what to do with! But I should at least be able to level more than 3 characters to 70 this time. X9, RIP XP! 😅

FINALLY. As a SEA player this will give me and my peeps some leeway to catch up to the vets in events. Now applebutt just needs to release limited weapons from previous banners that we missed because of their incompetence in not opening the game up to my area 8 months ago.

There’s alternatives for all the ff9 limited weapons and future limited weapons have more powercreep so I wouldn’t worry too much about not having them. Though It’s been suggested that you might be able wishlist limit break weapons on future limit break banners if you missed the party atk R ability weapons.

@@user-fc9mn7te5d agreed on the upcoming power creep. And right now levels are defo more important I feel for clearing content. It’s more of an issue of haves vs have-nots when it comes to weapons/costumes for a final fantasy fan like myself. I love all crossover content which was why dissidia was a wet dream for me when it first came out on the PSP.

amber, cerulean and emerald kinda match the pieces colors. probably pieces specific towers. magic, phys, hp/heal

I thought it would be for monoelemental teams. Like amber would be fire tower so you'd bring ice. Cerulean would be water tower, emerald wind? Just a thought

I really hope we get a wind arcanum for tifa finally, been waiting forever and then they gave it to yuffie. If not now, probably during 1st year anniversary. So Far we've seen LB weapons for fire, water and ice. That just leaves wind, thunder and earth. I have a feeling tifa will get screwed again and get earth, aerith thunder and then probably yuffie will get her first phys pot costume

Tifa will def get Wind imo. Aerith already has wind and so does Yuffie. Either way i would still take Earth tho for Tifa :)

Collab hype is real!! 🙌 They might also talk about guilds. But yes, these new towers are *very* exciting!! I wonder if they'll reset monthly. We need something to reset monthly like what most games have - along with the rewards they give.

I think it may be the same in story mode where you got toons that you must use. Not free use. So let’s say Lucia is a must on tower fl 10, and it is solo, so just her. And if you don’t have her leveled up nor weapons then you are sol. Shit out of luck.

i think on how the new Coliseum of the Chosen works is than in each tower you can only run pre set teams set up or let say in the amber tower you can only run it with ff7 characters this will make it than you need to have many team set ups and have all your characters gear up

A 10-lvl jump is a big deal! Not only because of the higher increase in power via more lvl jumps and stat streams, but also increasing the potency/strength of lvl 2 limit breaks now.

Totally agreed. Its a major jump and will probably be costing upwards of a 1000 memories per char if i had to guess

Why can’t I beat the bombs? I have sigil boost on all 3 characters I’m using, and the correct sigils. But the metal bomb explodes with like 4 left. But when I put cloud or tifa in the party, I’m fine and can just use recommended party.

lmfao imagine the character levels end up getting up to 120 just like with the weapons 😂 oh thank god for that golden rush bomb. i only have cloud, zack, sephiroth, lucia and matt at 70. leveling up the others would be a load off of my shoulders 😮‍💨 also, i feel like for the colosseum of the chosen we'd be allowed to use a character for only 1 time per rotation of a chamber/domain/level since that tactic is pretty popular in gacha games (which may cause us to use other/under built characters) to entice/attract players to purchase from the shop

There is a 1/1 quest you can do everyday i believe for 1 stamina or 20 that gives like 800K exp or more, but then yes it will still cost stamina but it is VERY worth it for the amount of EXP you get from it

We are going to Shb with this update. Its weird skipping lv 75 cap since they always add 5 extras lvs. Lets hope this update you can rematch this EX2 you couldnt beat it

Yeah imo LB Draw banners will only be for 1/2 anni and full year annis. But there is a livestream on the 28th i believe and i am guessing they will announce a crossover 🙏🏽

WoW yet another even more insane grind - RIP new players 😬 Lets get those Stamina Passes selling I guess..... Lately i found myself really pushing myself to log into once a day - its all repetitive and boring and recycled tasks/content. No new dungeons, no insensitive to re-run old dungeons, no rewarding, challenging and repeatable permanent content. If that was singe player a modder would have done in few days created a Boss Rush challenge with randomized rewards - including Crash Bosses as final secret challenge. Something like RNG dungeon but using all Boss assets (and there are so many right now staying unused). And still NO way to farm GIL! Announcement on 28th would be make or break for me and looking at social sentiment around EC - for many others - game has been bleeding players & whales at an increasing pace due to how badly its run by Applibot.

That RNG dungeon you mentioned is a great idea. I hope they implement something like that ingame, along with some Gold Saucer mini games. Those would be ways to at least farm some gil, which at least for myself, gates my progress. Tons of stuff and QoLs they need to work on. And also its sad to see some parts of the game are left dead when the game is still so young - character stories, criterion dungeons, materia system...

What is even worse is how they would just spent their time and resources on making games that is solely based on FF7. Why can't we have a Final Fantasy game that includes all the series 1 - 16 where we can play freely as everyone. Something that is NOT Dissidia but something that is like Record Keeper or Brave Exvius and solely for Steam / PC. I don't mind the gacha pull and all, but the content just feels forced at times. The idea that Square Enix keeps pushing on the FF7 title is just wild and bold. I get that it's iconic and famous, but the fact that they put one of the most crucial part of the story; which is Sephiroth's past origin AS BEING a mobile game and NOT in the actual game is just crazy. Hopefully FF7 Rebirth would have DLC that explains more of Sephiroth's past.

Yeah i feel that but tbh i am glad the game doesnt have things to do everyday. That gives me time for life, to read a book, go to the beach. I think that wanting a game to fill up all our time, as much as we love it, is not the best thing, at least for me. But yeah in terms of gil, yeah they DEF need to fix this!!!
