Equip sword with blood sword and lifefont may help, especially Agrias as a thief as holy knight stats are awful. Though yeah teleport is better than move+2, but it would let the thief steal anywhere lol.

Hi Ryan, thanks for the build suggestion! Very solid, though I prefer more protective reaction abilities like Mana Shield there is a definite benefit to the scaling speed that Adrenaline Rush provides to jump, just make sure you have plenty of HP and/or heals to keep stacking speed! 💪

I am not 100% clear if you need to have Martial Arts as your primary skill, or you can use bare hands and Brawler support skill to achieve the same effect. The BMG simply states having Martial Arts gives you a 1.5x multiplier to your speed as one of the first modifiers, so I will ask around for better clarity.

4:14 concentration helps more than brawler I feel, though for a PvP I don't really see the use in late game thieves. Clever 4:24 attack boost and yeah concentration. Steal heart can't compete with entice (no gender restriction) or time mage's quick which I believe arcane strength buffs them all. I also assume everyone has the best gear, so that utility is primarily for player vs human enemy on the same height (Meliadoul chantage theft on a different plane was impossible for me). 4:19 just get owned by iaido lol, which is limited by what the shops sell though people overrate the samurai, especially as chapter 3 heavy armor is crap with no stat boosts outside onion armor or something else post game. 5:18 steal Gil is miniscule jp farming compared to throw stone, item for potions, and of course Ramza/Luso's OP tailwind, but I assume that's banned in the format lol given Balthier and other customs are so OP without trying. 6:40 poach stops undead, which is helpful. 7:12 no lol move +2 is overrated with how broken Manafont/mana shield or even lifefont is with any type of drain (blood sword even if not ff2 busted), let alone reraise/regen. Still, if jp isn't an object, or you're limited to all one class' moves, it has some appeal with vigilance, which won't protect from being one shotted/100% accuracy like guns or jump. Is interesting to compare notes even if I disagree. I should check a couple others.

Right on, that's definitely a unique sprite that reminds me of a pirate compared to the concept art that has more of a brigand/highwayman feel. 👍

Good question LR -while you are grinding as a Thief this early in the game you can rely on just using Focus with JP Boost equipped, no need to get complicated. You could use Equip Crossbows from Archer if you want a quick, ranged physical damage-dealer. But this early in the game you don't have a lot of options for leveraging equipment to enhance the Job. 🤷‍♂ Keep in mind, for a Ninja you will also need Monk and Geomancer job levels, and there are abilities in those Jobs that will aid you in your journey moving forward. Definitely look at Brawler and Chakra from Monk, Attack Boost from Geomancer, Equip Heavy Armor from Knight (if you want extra HP in the early game), and while you are a Thief save up for Move +2. All of these will be huge once you unlock your Ninja. Also, Thieves have a 110% speed growth rate, which is less than a Ninja, but still higher than average! 👍

I focus on the multiplayer aspect of the War of the Lions version for PSP. I would recommend the ffhacktics forums for feedback on mods. That said I'm looking forward to seeing what you've created and would love a heads up when it's complete. A mod review video might be popular with the community!

@@TacticsLive @Tactics Live Tournament thanks for the suggestion! I planned on putting it on ffhacktiks too. I'll be sure to let you know so that you can do with it what you like. Hopefully its good and looking for honest feedback! I've basically just used the lion war and Qol mods as a base and then changed basically every job so that they are all useful in some unique way (changes to skillsets, custom abilities, innate abilities, etc). Also made it so that there arent any missable items. Is there anything that you thought was just... lacking... that you've wanted to change in the base game? I think the story is perfect so I'm not going to be changing that. Maybe in the future i'll try my hand at telling a new story from Delita's perspective but thats very advanced for me at the moment.

@@supersaiyaneevee1573 What I really appreciate is that there are folks like yourself who want to craft their own version of FFT and share it with others to enjoy! 💪 I do have my issues with specific Jobs, but in the grand view I think my enjoyment of the game comes from what I can do with the tools I am given, and I find ways to make the Jobs that are lacking useful through gear and Ability combinations. That said, from a PVP perspective, it would be SUPER fun to have free reign to create competitive PVP-oriented Jobs and Abilities.
