Requiescat is pronounced Wreck-we-ess-cat: Latin word meaning A wish or prayer for the repose of the dead.

ty for all those great guides!!! Thanks to them i am finally getting the grasp of how combat and classes work in FF14. Also discovered that i enjoy tanking in this game a lot, and yours and the Balances guides have been such a great help so far

Damn man, I'm surprised this video hasn't gotten more views and likes. I'm new to FF14 and playing as a level 54 Paladin currently and was curious about rotations whenever I get to start doing the raids when I came across this video. It was informative enough for me to (probably) implement this into my current play style and I may not actually piss anyone off 😅 I also have a few friends and even my girlfriend joining me every now and again and if they ever decide to pick up the sword and shield, I'm definitely gonna show them this video once they are worthy 😂

I’ve just been doing the old paladin opener where you use requiescat on Holy Spirits then confiter combo. And was always of the mind of doing only physical damage while fight or flight was up. Gonna have to change up my rotation.

I love PLD, but I do wish they would make Shield lob more useful for later end content since the enmity effect is supplanted by provoke/shirk.

A cool thing might be a bounce where it can hit targets close to the main target for reduced damage could be a fun tool for dungeons pulls or to get the eminty from ads that spawn in a boss fight

Hello. if i may ask, is there 2-target rotation and 3 target rotation just like the other tanks?

You start doing the AoE actions instead of the Single target ones at 3 or more targets. The actions are discussed in the video

Don’t worry about taking in all info in one go. Return to the guide a few times and just experiment. It’ll click for you eventually.

New to the game, was playing Pal/War Tank on WoW in a quite good lvl (+15/20 keys for those who know) and as a "good player" in wow i was like "yeah this game should be easy to master for me" ahahaaaa what an illusion, no addon, a lot of spell, a lot of rotation ... Fortunately there are videos like that that exist to help arrogant players like me lool

The main thing it took me a while to get used to is the amount of movement in 14 vs WoW. Tank and spank isn't really a thing over here.
