That was absolutely amazing!! Still trucking through MSQ stormblood but first time watching ultimate raid. That was intense and same time beautiful to watch. All those mechanics handle in sync just absolutely love seeing that. Kudos to you guys 👍

I'm only watching this video and I'm on the edge of my seat + my ass was clenched the whole time! Imagine them who's actually playing!! Also it's a really cool story/immersion stuff during the "enrage" part where the party members disappear one by one. Does Ultima deletes them from existence or it's like a safety pod that automatically "saves" the players because Ultima's enrage is basically self-destructing itself into a nuclear bomb?

You probably know this already but the final player gets obliterated personally by Ultima, so I'm guessing the former

I am quite glad the world first clear was so close, entertaining for the viewers as well, but at the same time it's somewhat of a shame that Ultima Weapon is preparing the enrage for such a long time, wish there was some extra mechanic there instead of it just becoming a targetting dummy for the last 15%.

I would say you've found your answer by now, but yes! This is a (I believe somewhat remixed) medley of each boss' theme. First Garuda, then Ifrit, then Titan, then the Ultima weapon

The fight looks epic, what I don't really like about ultima weapon is that it doesn't have much of original attacks. It's all ifrit, garuda and titan at the same time plus some of its own mechanics. It's eeeh...ok. Still a very difficult fight. I cannot wait when they throw the alexander bosses one after another, the manipulator, brute justice v1 and v2 and Alexander. That would be a nightmare considering that tier of raid (gordias and midas) were the strongest so far.

Despite all that I liked how the fight actually brought back those tether orbs where you have to eat them just like the original Ultima Trial fight. Nice homage that brings back some memories.

Is the totem a guaranteed drop for everyone on clear?

can only get the totem once per week for reset. If someone else has already cleared that week they won't get another one, but if there is someone else who has not cleared that week, they will still get the totem regardless of the position of other members.

Dark Fury new buff obtained by killing the awoken primal's then stepping into the light they leave, refills lb gague after lb3

If you're talking about the ultima weapon transition, the first three primal phases, if awoken, each drop collectible buffs called beyond limits. Instant refresh on LB3 when that player uses LB3. Hence the four LB3s in a row -- mage to healer to melee to tank.

It's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of math. DRK has better mitigation.

SorrowsEnd_ drk has better personal mitigation, war does more damage, so drk is better for progression but war for speed clears, Ultimate Bahamut had a drk for its world first too
