As you can see through the flags, Spain 🇪🇸 had a rather troubled 20th century: - Min. 0:45: 1875-1931 (Bourbon Restoration - Restauración borbónica 🤴🏻) - Min. 0:47: 1931-1936 (Second Spanish Republic - Segunda República española) - Min. 0:49: 1936-1938 (Nationalist Spain during the Spanish Civil War) - Min. 0:51: 1938-1945 (Francoist Spain - España franquista) - Min. 0:52: 1945-1977 (Francoist Spain and the beginning of the Spanish Transition to democracy) - Min. 0:54: 1981-present (current flag with the coat of arms approved by law in 1981)
