Hello all,
Here's a short review of ‪@fiatcarsindia‬ UNO that faced challenges in Indian market but failed. It had a powerful 1700 cc diesel motor and a tank like build quality.
HOPE ‪@fiatcarsindia‬ brings it back in Indian market.

Aerodynamic dikhne me shayad nahi thi. Cd was 0.30. Just for reference Lexus ki flagship LS400 ka Cd tha 0.29. Uno 140km/h ki speed me bhi bahut stable thi aur wind noise bilkul nahi ata tha. It was a wonderful car. No comparison with Zen or even Esteem believe me..

@@BharatAutoWorldINDIA PAL has to take the blame. They fooled us. My Dad had booked Uno 1.0FIRE and with a priority number of just above 500, we got the delivery after 1.5years in 1997. But the car was excellent, beyond expectations and imaginations. We got a piece that had full Italian parts. Open the bonnet and everything was in Italian language badged as Lancia and other Italian companies. Forget Zen, this car could not be compared even with Palio 1.6GTX in terms of robustness, chassis feel, ride and handling. Nonetheless, the GTX was just very fast when compared with Uno 1.0FIRE. Recently I found that Uno was actually designed and engineered for Lancia and not Fiat. Remember the Lancia Delta, even today it is the finest hatchback in the world! Uno was supposed to be placed below the Delta but finally Fiat took over. Currently, I drive a Rapid 1.6TDI which is 11 years old. Nice car no need to mention, but I say Uno was much better than even my Rapid in terms of ride, handling and feel.
