No i won't spam with offering my services as this is not nice and annoying and inmature:-P just want to say thanx for the great possibilities fibaro offers for home-domotica. hoping that some day i can actually tell my phone to make the coffeemachine make coffee. its a touchscreen machine so no relais will help there. but the idea is good and fibaro is actually doing its best to offer the most versatile z-wave stuff on the market today. keep on going, its much appreciated and loved.

The Fibaro system is absolutely a very nice, the Home Centre 2 a very cool device. However hoped the app would follow more the design philosophy of the device it runs on, and dispite many attempts have never been able to give just one single successful command via Lili.

Been doing all that with Crestron since the 90's. Good luck on getting all the devices to talk together, notice the coffee maker is CG not real.. no IP controllable coffee maker currently publicly available. It is one thing to have beta / buggy software and flakey hardware on a PC. But I promise you will not want to be the beta tester for a system that runs your house. Stick with Crestron or AMX. Control4 sucks, in comparison but it is still further along than this vaporware. The controler is less than half the equation, you have to have each device able to communicate, The oven turning on is Pure fantasy. No range manufacturer will have IP or 232 control of a stove, to much liability risk. IF, and ONLY if you have an ancient stove contactors could be put on the outlet. But will your insurance cover that? I promise that this video was made with a whole lot of off camera work.

None of this is IP controlled. It's called Z-wave and independent manufacturers make 100's if not 1000's of Z-wave compliant devices. So you don't need to buy an IP coffee maker or even a Z-wave coffee maker for that matter. You only need the electrical outlet that it's plugged into to be a Z-wave outlet. Also, yes they do now make a Z-wave controllable oven. In fact any manufacturer of electrical devices can make their stuff Z-wave compliant, once they are part of the Z-wave alliance (or whatever it is called now). Crestron is okay but you can hardly compare the two and with Crestron you're tied to Crestron. Z-wave is open source which gives Z-wave an advantage because open source drives innovation from many/any manufacturer and all/any Z-wave devices WILL talk to and recognize each other. There's virtually no limits with Z-wave (other than your imagination) and the market is rapidly expanding. Look out for Z-wave Plus - coming soon.

Kudos >>> FaceOfGod2 ! You are correct, and I totally agree! Fibaro is an exciting addition to the US market and we are looking forward to selling their products. Also wanted to add that Z-Wave Plus devices are supposed to be out next month in early October, some manufacturers have already announced their inclusion in their devices of the new chips.

The automation world doesn't just belong to just one company, other smaller companies have a shot to. Not sure why you/Crestron or Control 4 are throwing shade. This ad isn't even about those products lol. Threatened perhaps ?

P.s it's nice to always see something new and up and coming whether its online or offline. Still something fresh. These big automation companies think that the market won't get saturated lol It's the digital age, obviously there will be new kids on the block trying new products (soon everything will be IP controllable anyway )
