Moving into our dream house | House Journal | Episode 1

I'm back with a different kind of video. I had big plans of making a very nice first house journal but moving is no joke! we were so busy packing, painting, moving stuff while still trying to have a normal family life so the kids would not feel it too much. After the move the kids both had to start in a new kindergarden/school and things just got busy busy again.
Anyways - I managed to film a few clips that I tried to put together as best I could. The intro is from the new house but most the other videos are from our previous house. I also added in some before an after and clips of me painting. I hope to make a much nicer episode 2 ;) but I still hope you will enjoy this one.

So nice to hear from you again, after our vacation in Denmark at the beginning of April (and a short trip to Fyn) we also knew that we will be moving in autumn - and now it’s only 3 more weeks until moving day. I‘m very excited but also quite afraid. Knitting as stress-relief can only do so much.. Our daughter is three years old and we‘re expecting our next child in December. So I‘m in the same place you were in with your first move. It‘s good to see you settled in, it gives me some hope and I‘ll enjoy the follow-along. Thanks for your content!

The air of excitement in your voice shows how thrilled you are with your new home. The location sounds incredible. I hope the move wasn’t too stressful. I have been married for 50 years now and we have moved 15 times and 4 of those houses were a self build. Needless to say we’re done now ….no more builds or moves for us. Very interesting to follow you along this journey. I live in an old house too, since 6 years, and we renovate it, year after year. We made a lot of works, still things to do, but we absolutely love this house, very French and very "savoyarde" (old house from Alpes' region)...
