39/white just found out I have fibroids and I’m learning so much! All women on my moms side have them. My mom was able to have a d&c procedure but I won’t be able to due to the placement. My mom couldn’t get pregnant (started trying at 19) for 8 years and had multiple miscarriages which I think is why it took her so long. I’m still trying to decide and learn as much as I can. So glad for videos like this that are able to give more insights! ❤❤❤

I had trouble getting pregnant also, I had 2 miscarriages. The third time I was so excited at first and what happened in past came up. I had fibroids 🥲 Well I had my baby at 6 months I had fibroids. The fibroids tricked my body into believing I was full term. My baby was born weighing 1lb 12 ounces. Well she’s now 25 with no medical issues. I called my Miracle Angel. So yes we are miracles. Oh did I mention I was 35? Well guess what? I had another baby at 42🥰

I just had a robotic assisted myomectomy and ovarian cystectomy a week ago! The doctor thought I had one large fibroid and the ovarian cyst but once she got in, I had a large submucosal fibroid at 10 cm, and behind that large one they found 5 others! I had 5 laproscopic incisions, one internal uterine incision and a large incision in my cervix to be able to remove all of these foreign things! I am thankful it went well! I cannot believe how many you had and that you had to have the surgery twice! Hope everything is well.

Before the surgery, did the surgeons mandate that you sign a form acknowledging that they can give you blood transfusion as they see fit? Before surgery, did the doctor mandate that you sign a form states that they can convert the myomectomy to a hysterectomy if they choose to?

I never comment , but first time watching your videos and when you said Bell’s palsy, I had to say something! I’m 36, had a myomectomy this past November, and on the mend from Bell’s palsy. Currently trying to conceive too. I feel so seen! Cant wait to watch more of your videos. New sub!

You are a gift, a blessing and THANK YOU for sharing this information!! It's so little information out there and when I started ttc I had NO idea all the intricacies that are involved in conceiving and carrying healthy babies. Whew!!!! I get my lapo myo on July 13th and just scheduled my procedure TODAY after being hesitant. We are all on this journey together. PLEASE keep sharing information when given the opportunity. Thanks for sharing! My wife has this surgery scheduled for this Friday! We are 33 and 32, these Fibroids have been a pain for her , her whole life and everything you said seems spot on with our story. We hope to one day be parents and are keeping the faith but we know this surgery is huge step in the right direction as scary as it can be to think about it’s necessary. Hi, thank you for this. I truly felt everything you said and the conviction behind it. I think it's noble to remind people that they do have a purpose. It's especially important to lift up women who are discouraged, afraid, and unsure of how to tackle a situation like this. I myself am in the process of getting some consultations and coming up with a game plan after neglecting the issue for roughly two years. While I have sudden moments of anxiety and fear about my journey I know it's something I must confront. Best of luck to you and your husband on your path to parenthood.

Thanks so much for sharing your journey. This was a very touching story. I’m throwing baby dust back at ya! You definitely had me in shock when you said the fibroids had hair and teeth!! I had no idea that could happen. I have fibroids and I’m going to see a surgeon next week to see what surgery will be best for me. I’m hoping for a robotic assisted laparoscopic myomectomy. I’m hoping one day my husband and I could have a baby as well!

Just done mine 3 days ago removed the Fallopian tubes and uterus so not easy having a hysterectomy surgery and the advantage also right now is easy to healed 8weeks less pain also the robotic surgery. God bless you. Thank you for this hopeful and positive video. It was very Informative. Your tears bring me tears. I am a woman suffering from fybroid a, endometriosis and on top of that a hypothyroidism. I have always wanted to be pregnant but never even had a pregnancy scare. My periods are long and hinder my energy to even exercise regularly. I’m going for a lyposcopic meyomectomy (probably spelling it wrong) next month and I’m hoping that it will increase my chances for my miracle baby. Your positive attitude and smile literally gives me hope. You are not alone in your journey. Many women are looking for answers and I feel as though you have shed light to a very difficult topic that a lot of us struggling need. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

@@lovebug1180 I'm actually doing great. I can tell a lot of changes that have happened concerning my menstruals (no more cramps, clotting, having to use heating pad or take ibruprofen). I'm thankful that the surgery went smoothly overall.

@@debrajames3865 It was an outpatient surgery laparoscopic myomectomy. My menstrual came on the next week as it was normally timed. The healing process was great (2 wks max).

Wow I choose to watch you because I am about to do the same surgery. Just trying to see others who did it. I too trying to have a child the doctors are also telling me I am 45 and maynot have a child but I don't listen to that I leave it to God. Just pray the surgery goes well.

Your video is so relatable. I am 37 and have had 2 surgeries to rid of my fibroids like yourself. Oddly this second surgery my problematic period is still causing me so much pain n grief every month. Feel relief to see other women experiencing similar. This issue often makes me feel isolated and frustrated because most women do not understand. Thanks for sharing!

You do not need to undergo surgery at the first place, because surgery is not a solution in shrinking Fibroid,,There are natural Herbal Medication

@@ky.sheilah6800 My surgery went very well. I had 2 fibroids that we being removed but they found 9 during the surgery. My incision was a little big than originally planned. The first 2-3 days were tough but I was prepared for worst. Actually it wasn't as bad as I thought. The hardest part for me was being completely dependent on my husband. You will need help and don't be ashamed to accept it. You don't realize how much you use your abdomen until it's affected. Praying all goes well for you & a speedy recovery 🙏🏿🙏🏿

I appreciate the information provided. It is difficult to get detailed information about detailed surgeries. Online reviews are usually don't provide enough information. Before the surgery, did the surgeons mandate that you sign a form acknowledging that they can give you blood transfusion as they see fit? Before surgery, did the doctor mandate that you sign a form states that they can convert the myomectomy to a hysterectomy if they choose to?

Yeh thank God I did some research and have been watching videos like yours. My gyno told me the only way I can remove mine is from a hysterectomy, but I knew already that wasn't the only way, now I'm getting a second opinion. It makes sense that they only offer what they can do themselves!

This was so amazing. My doctor recently felt a lump and my uterus is sizing at 22 weeks. I have a sonogram scheduled to evaluate for fibroids but she is pretty sure that's what it is. Super nervous and praying that it won't affect my fertility.

I recently had the pleasure of choosing a new Obgyn named Tiffany Jackson. She is a Harvard graduate who specializes in Laparoscopic surgery, fibroids etc and she completed her residency at Brigham and Women's in Boston. Her practice is housed at Baylor-Garland.

Morcellation can cause the spreading of cancerous cells. When they did that procedure it could be a possibility that it spread the fibroid cells while they were chopping it up and that might have been the cause of those 33 fibroids that came back.

Thank you so much for sharing your story! I hope all your hard work pays off! I had a small submucosal fibroid that grew quite big once I got pregnant it went from 3cm to 13cm in 7 months. Because of where it was positioned it actually crushed my baby’s face causing him to be a bit unsymmetrical. Plus it didn’t allow him to turn so he was breech and I needed to have a c section. Right now I’m almost 4 months postpartum and I never stopped bleeding. Some days are so heavy that I thought I was hemorrhaging out. I definitely need this fibroid removed. I would like to consult the physician you used. Did he recommended you go into medical menopause a few months before surgery to reduce the risk of blood loss?

I am 35 years old I’ve had one Miscarriage a 16 year old daughter a 13 year old son two hernia lrepairs one ectopic tube rupture a second ectopic pregnancy that they got out on time before a rupture, got pregnant again with my son now 6 years old then two years later got pregnant with my daughter MiaRose 3 years old now.. Yeah I have to get checked for this again last yr they didnt see anything. First I couldnt get a period now it wont stop and its really heavy with clots I be on 2 months sometimes. I completely understand the struggle of trying to conceive I dont have any kids tried having some with my ex and he completely broke my heart and gave up on me but hey everything happens for a reason maybe in the future I will have some kids and meet mr right.

How size was your fibroids? Mine is 7cm and I have surgery planned for September. Some advice to prevent fibroids : walks, take breath, stop coffee, dairy, gluten, tea (some herb are phytoestrogens), seeds like flaxseed, reduce sugar and get enough sleep to reduce stress.
