This is probably the third time and only the third time that I have ever commented on a KZfaq video. I have suffered with fibromyalgia since the age of 22 years old. It took me 12 years to get to a physician to test me out with the trigger points and come to the conclusion that I have fibromyalgia. This is how I describe it: it is a chronic pain condition controlled by the neurological system that affects the musculoskeletal system. There are three things that help me. Number one get a good night's sleep. Number two swim laps in a pool, getting the oxygen and the blood moving throughout the body. Number three. When you have a flare up, which I call when a lot or most of your muscles are in spasms then take a muscle relaxer. Don't do any hard impact aerobics such as jogging. And you are correct when you say pain( and I am paraphrasing here) is magnified with us. A person without fibromyalgia can accidentally bump their hand against the kitchen table and it's no big deal, in other words they feel slight pain, however, a person with fibromyalgia do this it's almost like somebody hit them with a sledgehammer. One more thing, I think you both are wonderful, I wish you lived and had an office or clinic in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. You work well together, have a sense of humor, and you really know your stuff. I hope these suggestions help someone out there that is suffering with fibromyalgia. My physician once told me that I am one of the lucky ones. He said a lot of his fibromyalgia patients are in wheelchairs. I told him, I work at it. I even told my 86-year-old mother about the two of you. She has suffered with fibromyalgia most of her life. Yet, The physician that diagnosed me decades ago told me it is not a hereditary condition. I was told I have fibromyalgia at least 18 years ago. Thank you for bringing it up to the forefront. I have learned to deal with the pain meds sometimes help but I don't want to depend on them. Exercise helps and just keeping busy helps.

I see this is an old video, still great advice. I’ve just been diagnosed with FM it’s a nasty illness, especially the flare ups. I’m going to follow these exercises, I can’t over do it, so I now pace my self. I find warmth is very good, I’ve just moved to a warmer climate, that’s helped tremendously. Thanks to these two guys, I miss Bob I hope he’s doing well.

I've had Fibro for 30 years, and I sure wish I could afford this pad. Seems everything is always so expensive.

I have a lot of pain in my neck, elbows, wrists, knees and upper and lower back and asked if I could have fibromalgia, I was informed (and I quote), "There is no such thing, it's just a made up word to give unexplained pain a name because people like to have a 'diagnosis'".

Dear Bob & Brad I have been struggling with pain in the back of my neck including headaches for a while now. I also have problems with my bowels. I have difficulty sleeping due to what I can only call restless legs with an ache and dull pain. I have days with low energy and cant get out of bed because pain in my lower back and hips. I went to my GP and she prescribed me Pregabalin but has not yet diagnosed me with anything. Ive had 18 blood tests and wait the results but have been told I have high colesteral and a vit D defincency. Any idea what I can do to get a diagnosis? Thanks David from the UK

Bob and Brad>I have had Fibromyalgia for many years. I have a 4 lead Spinal cord stimulator to help with the pain, and I take Low Dose Naltrexone for the pain.I take magnesium and vitD. I find it extremely painful to travel in a car. I have cushions and pillows but any trip over 30 minutes causes me a great deal of pain. Or, if I make multiple stops I feel as if a truck ran me over. What do you suggest to make traveling less painful?

thanks for the video. I'll try this. I do click and clunk alot when doing these moves especially in my left shoulder (which was the frozen shoulder a couple of years ago). My plantar fasciaitis cleared up too and your videos helped with that. I do stretch out my lower right hip a lot but I think I'm being far too aggressive with it. it's always worse when i sit down. I'm also hypermobile which I'm not sure is a help or hindrance. I'll check out the thermotex.

Thank you very much for sharing these exercises and the products providing heat. I have fibro but I also have low back pain that I so very bad at night when I try to sleep. I use ice packs and that seems to help some should I go to heat instead? Don't let the haters get to you they just need Jesus😇

Why is there always someone in the background talking loudly? Can't they shut up for the 10-15 minutes run time? Very annoying.

I wouldn't call what I suffer from deep muscular pains. sure, I have some tight muscles on my shoulders, but mostly what I have been suffering from for 18 months now is extreme head pressure that I think is rooted in the occipital (?) area. it results in feeling like having a hangover, slight dizziness, sometimes nausea. I also have pain in my right wrist (I can't hold myself for pushups) and over my right buttcheek. just the points you were showing on your tshirt. I hope this video will help me.

a Lot of people that are diagnosed with fibromyalgia have Lyme disease

It's hard to concentrate because your microphones are picking up what sounds like women talking loudly in the background. I have fibromyalgia & find that difficulty concentrating is one of the problems I have so this video needs either doing again or editing the sound please.

This condition is clearly a auto-immune disease, not a syndrome, not a mere neurological nerve condition either. It amazes me how medical professionals who cannot find the disease come up with such nonsense because they are incompetent and have no clue. This disease goes beyond nerve misfiring, it is deep seeded inside the muscles, tendons, ligaments and the blood. The nerves feel the exact degree of pain they are definitely experiencing. Nerves are connected to the skin, the soft tissue, the muscles, tendons, ligaments. The blood becomes affected from the ongoing Chronic Pain, causes chronic inflammation and more psin, all to which the blood too becomes sick with toxicity. TO the point, the patient is literally in agony. This is not a hyperactivity of the nerves in the brain, but definitely in addition, includes a chronic overloaded nervous system in addition to the other components problems. This is physical, it is not psychological nor is it a neurological disorder. Period. Professionals need to be doing arm, leg and back muscle biopsies, soft tissue and skin biopsies for various diseases and deficiencies including tests for SCURVY and Vitamin C deficiency, a detailed blood work, individual sed rate/inflammation blood lab tests, individual charting if the patient had went on a 6 month or longer diet even 10 years prior and type of diet, Physical Therapy, regular working up to Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, and a natural, safe, monitored "NON Nsaid" inflammation herb, as Nsaids might help temporarily but they also create overload of Cortisol which causes ongoing and more inflammation. This is a Disease. It is NOT a syndrome. Period.

I was really really deeply deeply disappointed in this video. I have been working with my physical therapist on my fibromyalgia treatment and I’ve done much research into exercise to see what can be done about strength, flexibility, and endurance, and all you had to offer was some heat and breathing? Go back to the drawing board. Delete this video entirely. If you want to do something about trigger points, then fine do something on triggerpoints.Do some research on what kind of exercise benefits people with fibromyalgia. You did one other video on it with some very basic stretching exercises. That was better than this
