The people who say that are not worth bothering with! You find out who your true friends and family are. 1 in 3 people suffer with chronic pain which is a massive amount! Who are they to say you don't have it!!!

My daughters were 13 and 15 when I got diagnosed. They both needed counselling to come to terms with the life change. The pain clinic was good until they made me do a week course then got rid of me! The Rheumatologist was awful and made me cry. A lot of medical professionals do not understand chronic illness. That's why I do most of my research myself now.

I went on a pain management course through the hospital. I was referred first to a rheumatologist then he referred me to the pain clinic. Maybe you need to change gp? I have a brilliant gp who i see monthly and is very understanding. It takes a while but worth it in the end.

Yes I think I need to change my GP, I had blood tests done in July to just see thyroid levels really, as I seem to be losing hair, all of a sudden as well as all my usual symptoms . Ive always had think wavy hair, and Ive noticed its now thin, I can see my scalp more etc, she was so unsympathetic , offered no advice nothing just said my levels looked ok! I just walked out flabbergasted! I've just had Nerve Conduction Tests on my legs and have a Consultant Appt in late next month,, so hopefully get some answers then. Thanks for you video. @@debbiedrake2550 no problem! I am always here for my fellow spoonies! Sounds like changing gp is a good plan. You need someone who understands. When you go to the appointments ask about the pain clinic. Hair loss can be a Fibro thing too. There is so much to Fibro. Thank you for viewing and always here if you need an ear!
