i moved to Tacoma in 1995.. i was 18. knew not a soul. after 26 years there, i have FAMILY. friends. what a welcoming place. 2 years ago, i moved back (reluctantly) to St Paul,MN... unwelcoming. ugly place. I will be driving back this summer to Tacoma,and the foothills, living in a tent with my dog.... happy to.
