Here is a this short video for Field day and how to use the logging program N1MM as an operator in Peterborough Ontario ARES Field Day event. It is partly directed to new hams or to those new to field day and give some basic description of field day but mostly gives a tutorial on how to use use N1MM logging for this event.

Thanks David. I sure do appreciate you knowledge and willingness to help others. You helped me some in 2015 on FB, when I first got my ticket. I did field day at home this year as a 1D, but I have only OS-X computers. I tried using my QRZ.com account as my logging station. Man it was a nightmare. Their software would tell me ILL is not a valid section when I would enter IL, so I couldn’t log anyone from Illinois. Then while working a huge pileup I noticed the mode had changed from SSB to RTTY, so I spent half my time correcting logging errors. Next year I will acquire a PC computer and run N1MM. Now I’m struggling with how what to do with the ADIF file to get it in to the ARRL. Anyway, thanks again.

of course, no instruction on how to setup and recall those loging windows in that huge messy suite... I remember we could log on a DOS program running on 8088 old compaq laptops but now softwares are soooooooo complicated and in a huge set of menues and parameters that for the non initiated, it is complicated to find our way around... all this video is nice but there is no instruction on how to setup for the event...
