Field Find 1971 Ford F100 Ranger XLT sitting for 22 years! Will it Run?!?

We picked this 1971 Ford Ranger XLT up in eastern Montana this fall. It had been sitting in a salvage yard and was last registered in 1998. It's got a 360 cubic inch FE engine and C6 automatic transmission. Lets see if we can get this thing back on the road!

Well, as you may know FE stands for fuckin' expensive! dropping my 352 block off at the machine shop today. Gonna need to go rob a bank right after I leave the machine shop LOL

That valve train looked about as dry as my mouth in the morning after many low quality sammiches and J. D chasers. Still a solid truck. Hey to Duff.

I always like the Ford FE engines. They are good engines if you maintain them. Most people fall sadly short in that department...As was evidenced by the fact that it was a gallon low on oil. I'd bet the missing radiator was full of oil when they pulled it.

HAHAHA I was not expecting the jump scare 😅 I did jump a little when that dodge blew up 🤣🤣🤣😂 GOOD ONE!! It takes a bit to make me jump.

Perfectly edited !! As your reaching for the carb and talking about fires. BAM !! A car blows up . It took a second to process what I just saw . Glad I wasn't eating or drinking that could of been A mess. Nice job

With the radiator missing I’m sure it’s been over heated many times….some old farmer probably added water , blew head gaskets etc….now moisture/water in the crank case
