Here I get cooked and then drenched getting my tractor moving again. I was discing with my Massey Ferguson 135 Perkins gas tractor and heard a pop and the tires wouldn't move. PTO worked, hydraulics worked, but no power to the wheels. At first I was really frustrated and thought I might have broken a shaft and was about to experience splitting the tractor, luckily I did some research and this was a fairly simple fix. I am learning about tractors one mistake and repair at a time and in hindsight it's been a great experience.
Thanks to / @bundybearsshed (Bundy Bears Shed no idea if my link will actually work or not) for a really good overview on installing this part. I wasn't going to split the tractor and preferred to not pull the top plate under the seat and read on a forum that I could still do it and yes they were correct. Though a long video I did edit it down a lot, because I kept using bad tools choices and figured you wouldn't want to see all my failures, but I do want you to know I wasted a lot of time.
Also I got the shear tube from:

You may want to order the pin, it was difficult to find locally, but Rural King had a kit that happened to have a couple in it. I think it was 3/16 x 2-1/2" L that fit.
