Out of curiosity, have you guys ever air-layered a mango tree at truly tropical? It's done quite often in India.

We have hurricanes and storms almost every year in Florida so mango trees need to have a long tap root or they will blow over... Air-layers don't have the tap root.

Not cold hardy. You'll have problems if it gets down to 40 degrees F
