I've watched hundreds of catch and cook and hunting videos as well as car truck (ute) performance videos produced by a bunch of you Aussie legends and I have noticed consistencies in everyone's videos. I believe the top three things I've learned are 1.) Everyone needs to visit Australia at least once before they die to experience one of the most beautiful spots in the world. 2.) Mud crabs are a super awesome species to target and they are just as delicious as they are fun to harvest. As a Florida native we have some epic seafood including crabs which I love but I have to try mud crabs before I die. And finally.... .. Number 3.) The Snags from Bunnings are the legitimate Australian national dish and they need to bring back the onions!

This is what you call living. Out in the middle of no where, hunting for your own food and cooking in the very place you hunted your food. Just brilliant🙂👍🏼

@@nomchompsky2883 well yeh because when your away from civilisation time has no meaning. Before the white settlers came to Australia the Aboriginal people had no real sense of time or knew what the modern clock or time keeping was. They judged the days time by the sun I guess.

If you’re going to properly kill the crab you have to stab it twice as they have two seperate nervous centres not just the one, there’s one under the tail flap and one slightly further up in a shallow depression on the underside of the body. Just the most humane way of putting them out of their misery as only getting one leaves it still capable of feeling pain and stress.
