Irish people who found refuge in Liverpool used to sing the original with the Liverpool people and came up with this brilliant heartwarming version. It's things like this that make Liverpool FC no ordinary club, it's a family.

Im from Sabah Malaysia,and im a liverpool fan till i die....nice song and Liverpool have lots of good songs other than this.For those who chose dislikes,i pity them.Maybe their football clubs don't have any song or any good songs to sing along too:-) YNWA to Gerrard and Co and may King Kenny brings us to more future glory............

New version's fantastic. Brings a tear to the eye. Such a waste... From all LFC fans - Thank you to the fans of other clubs who join us in remembering. And to those who come here with abuse - I have nothing but pity for you. Children died on that day, the youngest being 10 years old. Try thinking before you come here glad that people have died. I hope hope one day you feel shame at saying such things. YNWA

i went too the memorial just yesterday and it was heartbreaknin, absoloutly amazing though, a community coming together and we will never give up. justice for the 96 we will always keep trying x

When Liverpool was formed, late in 1892, Blackburn Rovers had already won the FA Cup three times. The Rovers committee were reponsible for building the Leamington Ground which was the first perpose built football enclosure on the planet and were the first club to stage an England International. Rovers, to this day, hold the FA Cup record by going 21 games without defeat. I am a football fan from Liverpool.

I have mixed feelings around this time of year, of 96 angles who should be here. From Shankly & Paisley to King Kenny have shown you'll never walk alone Rafa now your on the throne. Should I sing, Should I cheer for 96 angles who should be here. I will sing bounce for the men in red but the 96 angles are in my head. Well said. Rico. A big link between Celtic and Liverpool now. The great thing about Liverpool is that it is an all encompassing club. I'm a Liverpool fan from Ireland and the one time I was lucky enough to watch a match at Anfield, I saw people wearing Liverpool/ Rangers Scarves, but were also selling Celtic scarves. It's very convenient for people to have this LFC = Protestant, Everton = Catholic thing, but both Clubs have had managers and players from Celtic & Rangers.
