Fierce Mtn Reaper - 7 MM PRC: first shots and setup.

I got my Mtn reaper yesterday and set it up last night! I caught a break in the weather that allowed me to squeeze off a couple of rounds. Man I’m loving the set up! I can’t wait to get it zeroed and start stretching her out. I invested in this rifle as a lightweight, long range hunting rifle to fill that empty slot in my “firearms golf bag”. I think Valkyrie will fill that roll very, very well!

I just picked up a MTN Reaper in 6.5 creed. I noticed the bolt is really stiff after firing. Have you noticed this also? I’m wondering if they cut their chambers real tight.

How long did you wait for it? I ordered 7 months ago and they still have not started building it

I ordered 4/6/23 and received mine last Thursday, 12/7/23. A day over 8 months. I had asked them to mount the scope and do dial up work but cancelled that. The gun is clean and shoots well, if that makes you feel better. They said they were waiting on the scope, so I called to cancel the scope the next week but they had received it by then. They mounted the scope but I scrubbed the dial up work. I was too excited.

It’s not bad at all about like a 30.06, less felt recoil with a suppressor.
