I used to love going through old buildings and finding old tools and trying to work out what they were for. Rather than use grease on the bead, which may let the tyre spin on the rim at a later date, just use straight dish soap liquid.

Just an idea for the shed if your going to strip the roof maybe make it into an apex roof so you don't have a valley gutter to deal with and clean out

I also live on a farm and suffer with mice under the bonnets. I find spraying with WD 40 over the Autumn and winter months approx once a month works well.

Seeing someone else spoke about ranting, I saw your rant earlier on your KZfaq shorts and believe me, it is healthy to get things off your chest rather than to bottle it up. I do love a rant or two myself especially at those conservationists (farmers were the original conservationists) who think farming in a way which enhances and preserves wildlife as well as producing nutritious foods cannot be done. So many environmentalists and their ilk think we need to either plant trees and rewild everywhere but no, we can and should do both. Once all this bloody floodwater disappears and everyone’s soils actually get a chance to dry out, that is.😮

Two male quick release air couplers, screw them back to back with an adaptor or weld them, one end in your air line, the other fits perfectly in the valve (remove main threaded bit, not just the core). Hope that makes sense😂

just a suggestion .........how about knock the shed down that needs the new roof and replace it with a big open span building taking in the yard area that your there clearing now.......valley gutters are a bit of a pain we got one on one of our sheds and when they block up with leaves etc the water comes in over in the centre of the shed which isn't good.......another big expense i know and easy for me to say how you should spend your money

Them slates will last longer than any roof tile of today and no need for felt, plus dressing them is a lost art. As for re-roofing, do the whole thing in one go ie the bit that collapsed.

Wellbrook is starting to look good. That brick barn would definitely make a useful space with a bit of TLC. I blame the council for the increases in fly tipping. There is no excuse for fly tipping but not too long ago you could just drive into the tip and give them your postcode if they asked. Now if you have a van you have to go online and book a slot and you're only allowed so many. Before they set up the website you had to go to the local council office and register your van and get a form with X amount of tickets in it. It would be a long queue and a rude member of staff guaranteed. The amount of fly tipping you see now is bloody ridiculous and it must cost the council more to drive around cleaning it up. All to stop the odd white van man making a few quid on the side taking waste to the tip

Hey I watch your vids You hafts stop talking about food being sold at less of cost of production in the uk please…. Floor prices lead to excess supply, have never worked & never will!!! Please focus rather on import policies for credibility. Supermarkets have a huge cost inflation so does all of retail just like families. You don’t have a right to make a living from agriculture and neither do I as an Australian dairy farmer. We are both exposed to world/market influences. Please keep campaigning on uk farmers looking after uk people with affordable food just like every country should
