To defend the kick off run all you need to do is run towards your own goal and catch the player from the side instead of diving in straight away leaving a massive gap between the midfield and defence. It helps if you use a formation like the 4-2-2-2 with 2 Cdm's or the 4-3-1-2 with three cm's cos then the player has to run through 3 players instead of 1 like the 4-1-2-1-2 which has a Cdm, LM, and a RM. The LM and RM tend to start off wider and don't help with blocking the player running towards your player.

Good video as always bro.....I would just like to ask one question.....I notice in fifa15 their control sucks they trap the ball and it bounces far from them....how can I control passes better?

it also happens to me (ps3 version). sometimes when i charge the power bar to shoot or just to simply pass the ball, my player just let the ball get far from him, far enough so a defender can come and easily tackle him. I've lost an enormous ammount of goals because of this issue

I was wondering the same thing. I'm guessing at very least he needs to get off turbo. And, correct me if I'm wrong... you need to hold down the "Slow/Control" button (LT?) to be able to do skill moves like ball roll, in which case you can't be running. You could probably get off "Slow/Control" button just before you shoot, but after you complete you skill moves for a more powerful shot.
