Nah not years, months. Depends on each players own form. Players could get upgrades or downgrades based on how they perform before the first fifa 23 update

Antony, Martinez, and Malacia (the ten hag signings) are going to be beasts in career mode and quality UT signings. Eriksen rating feels low but by the January update wouldn’t be surprised to see a 84/85 upgraded card. Also, Rashford at 87 pace seems criminal imo.

It's all about the potential for career mode. I had Sancho go up to 95 a few years back. It's a shame that EA put so little effort into the career mode. They recycle assets year after year after year & still charge full price every time. I've moved on to Football Manager now. The graphics aren't great, but the gameplay is much better.

I’ve noticed that they make the base stats as low as possible so they can bring out as much upgraded cards as they can. More money for them 🤑🤑🤑

Ronaldo getting a 90 and messi getting a 91 is beyond ridiculous. Ronaldo was by far our best player and scored 20+ goals in the toughest league in the world whereas Messi had a very shit start in a farmers league. It would have been fair to atleast keep them both the same.

Cristiano carried this team on his back last season, dropping him a point based on early games is a madness. On a separate note Ronaldo Brown makes a great co host, he knows ⚽️

@@zirbto5749 That's a completely separate conversation mate. Judge him on his own performances. The only people to score more goals than Cristiano in the prem were the two who won the golden boot. His work rate, desire, dedicate are unmatched. also two premier league hattricks... come on now.

@@mo-ec6wu his work rate on the field is in the bottom tier off the field very high. also thats the worst argument he scored 5 less goals than a guy who is rated 2 lower and didn´t take penalties. Also desire and dedication aren´t part of the rating also it also isn´t about how many hattricks you score but goals

Genuinely surprised by a lot of those ratings. Thought most of them would have dropped more. It’s like they couldn’t decide on most of them so settled for a steady 80. And let’s not sugar coat it, Maguire has no business being the same rating as Martinez. His PR is immense, but no one is fooled because we all have eyes. Him just being on the pitch makes our defence look insecure.

Maguire is too much though, 79 is okay for him. Rashy's pace seems criminal to me. Ronaldo is a little bit too high, 88 would suffice. Martinez should be around 82-83. To put him in the same bracket as Maguire is a crime. DeGea has to be 85, he is good but not that good anymore. We'll wait for the updates mid-season and I believe we will see some changes.

For a footballer he jumps high, but in any other jumping sports, not at all. Bugs me when people exaggerate his jumping ability 😆 85 is generous for his dribbling, lets be honest.

Being completely honest United are would be very lucky if they're still a 4.5 star squad let alone a 5. Theres 1 maybe 2 absolute max that get in the City/Madrid/Liverpool/PSG teams

I think a lot of those ratings are a bit harsh. Ik last season was bad but some ratings are def too harsh. Sancho - 85, Rashford - 82, Varane - 85, Martinez - 83, Eriksen - 84, Antony - 83, Malacia & Dalot - 80

The overall for players that have to change, are Rashford 81-86.Sancho 84-87. Malacia 79-83.bruno Fernandes. 86-87.and Ronaldo. He's pace 81-87..or else this is crap.. This ratings are not good like if u agree

@@Armn9999 sometimes personal problems aren’t anything to do with form. He was just going through a bad patch in form on the pitch. People try to over complicate football and assume that form on the pitch is affected by off the pitch life. It’s just a game
