As a former Marine Corp drill instructor, it amazes me the monumental effort, the precision and super human feat that it took to execute and accomplish this parade. In fact it is so amazing that I can assure you american troops could not accomplish nor even come close to anything as seen here. I am not disrespecting America or our troops so please stop with the but we could still whoop them, or that I somehow lack loyalty, I served for over 2 decades. I am just giving kudos to an amazingly executed parade.

I lived in China for 6 years, and being at this great event was the highlight of my stay. I left a month later. There is no other army in the world that can march the way the Chinese do. Their precision is simply unbelievable. The enormous amount of time and effort and training for these events is staggering, and by Western standards, brutal. And this is why no Western country can ever win a land war in Asia. It's not in our DNA to give the 200% that is required for battle operations, to endure the inhuman conditions, to be inhumanly brutal to the enemy, or to understand that if you choose to fight, you are then required to win. China continues to show the world how it's done, in everything they undertake. Are they perfect? Of course not. But they have achieved a system of governance that, while by Western standards is considered "violative of personal freedoms", is anything but. To be perfectly honest, I felt freer and under much less "state supervision" than when I lived in the US. Congratulations China on your continuing successes in your space program. The American Heyday has long since passed. China has picked up the standard and is carrying it with pride and distinction. I'm very much looking forward to my visit again in a few months.

The fact that generals are marching with the soldiers in perfect sync already shows the disciplin. Not many generals would do that nowadays.

Chinese They have an amazing discipline in every National Field - Science, Military, Leadership, Public and in Business and Finance. They deserve to have the title of being "Super Power".

the PLA is one of the few remaining countries with a proper military march. The rest is just some acted disciplined looking casual walk and call it a march. Something I greatly respect about the PLA

I was working with UN Chinese medical unit in South Sudan. There were people like a people, but at medal parade in Juba they are marching like that. It was not elite troops, just medicalsw. I have seen that by my own. Perfection 10 of 10

I don't know if most civilians understand what it took to execute this level of perfection. I can just imagine what training was like to get the eyes right correct and include generals. Kudos to the Chinese army for pulling this off

Their skill at parading is a reflection of their level of discipline, cohesiveness and readiness as a fighting force. The enemies of such army should take note.

As a former soldier, I’m very impressed!

Any drill instructor will know that getting even a platoon or company size on parade is difficult enough ...the PLA is marching in brigade size formations making this a division size parade with dressing and alignment that is out of this world !

There is a saying in my country: "tell me how you march, and I will tell you how you fight". Just amazing.

I've done 10 years in the french military and had the honor of parading 3 times down the champs élysées on 14th of july. I was with engineer troops and paraded on foot each time. We were good, but not THAT good compared to PLA. Incredible display of precision and discipline. Well done China.

America could never. This military is clearly superior by the numbers and diverse branches of the military that can be deployed for so many different purposes. The unification is unmatched.

As precise as a hummingbird sipping nectar and with every step in absolute synchronicity. A flawless display both spectacular and mesmerising. This shows tremendous dedication and devotion. A true test of each and every soldiers fortitude and accomplishment.

Omg most amazing marching I have ever seen. Shoes tapping sound, uniform, precision of each step, even the height! Everything close to perfection. Someone might say even they can march damn well great but can they protect the country? But without the strong persistence,great effort and determination, there is no way to train the soldiers to make such a perfect moves. The soldiers are well trained and they will be strong in any circumstances.

Watching this parade, it reafirmed to me that the People's Republic of China is a serious and extremely well organised country... I can see committed officers, and troops... I can see discipline and a common purpose... I can see love for your own country, which is totally different to the Western chovinism against others... I can see able, energetic and mature leaders... I have visited China seven or eight times in the past 20 years, and in every visit, more and more, I saw friendly and self assured people... Every time I visited China, despite being noticeable different (I am of South American origen, now an Australian citizen), I felt totally secure and surrounded by warm and friendly people, in huge cities of 20-million inhabitant, or in small towns or villages... Congratulations and good wishes for all of you, chinese friends... I wish you all the best in future years!

The Olympics (Opening and Closing) was something that the world will never forget and be grateful for, ThankYou for the 'Once in a Lifetime Experience'. This Military Parade reminded me of the hard work and preparation that went into the wonderful program that amazed the world when you hosted the Olympics. I hope someday we can realize that we are all made from the same creator with the gift of a Soul fueled by Love and a true common instinct that wishes for happiness and well being for all the people of the Earth. We are all Family and of the same race...the Human Race. The children of the world should inherit a world that has been improved upon from the previous generation. We are only custodians of this spectacular place we get to live on, we are so very fortunate to have such a planet. It is up to our leaders to get it together and give future generations a planet that shows it was given the respect it deserves and that Earths population has evolved into a family that made it all happen, learning from the past and working together to provide a future that can be proudly handed down from generation to generation. There are no bad people on Earth, only bad Souls.
