When you get a bad corporal and Sargent during basic training they can do what they like and make your life a lot worse than it should be ,obviously it's hard anyway they can punish you normally things like quick change parades ,marching you down to the guard room and get punishing exercises non stop I came out like I had been in a bath with my clothes on I was drenched in sweat , extra guard duty were they don't let you sleep, then you still have a hard day a head ,but that's normal and legal they have to make it hard ,but I did get a corporal who forced me to buy a watch I didn't want he would invite trainee's into his office and show you things like in my case a divers watch I told him I didn't want it but then he's like yes I think you do he thretans you a little subtlety so I gave him 45 pounds for it ,I sold it to my friend then another trainee siad he had this watch stolen out his locker .at Christmas most trainee's in my room was from northern Ireland so they didn't have to come back for guard duty over Christmas, me and my friend did we got a few days off but not as much as the others ,but our room was empty for a few days but the rest of the time it was me and my friend in there ,then in the new year everyone comes back everyone in the room apart from me and my friend had there lockers broke into or things missing but there was no sign of the lockers being broke into then this dodgy coparal comes in and says I know how you did it pointing to me ,he then turns the locker round and takes the back off straight away I knew it was him the victims of the theft turned against me I denied it obviously but as the room was empty for 5 days of the 2 weeks nothing happened to me and my mate ,I know or strongly suspect the other corporals and the Sargent knew it was the dodgy corporal, one day one of the other corporals told me to ask the dodgy corporal if he took steroids, I said I can't he will kill me then he said if you don't I will punish everyone then everyone was moaning at me to ask him because they didn't want to be punished so I asked him and he went mad and grabbed my throat but luckily he was pulled of me but I got in trouble ,this corporal was a thief and he wanted money badly for something I think steroids but I'm not sure
