at 4:36 he said it was a driver door incident but it looked like he hit the rear of the car and part of the back door not the drivers door!!

The whole reason Granada’s are so rare now is because most of them came to arena Essex and other oval tracks around the globe to be smashed up because there so good.

I used to think like johnny until I got involved in banger racing as an official. I used to only work at stock car meetings but for the last 5 years I've done the bangers as well and I must admit I love them now!!!

that hit was on a yank, althougt it was a RHD it was well on the rear door

That wasn’t the drivers door he hit ,it was more like the side rear of the car. Miss arena Essex raceway great memories of smashing a car up for fun 😂

Why do they let people who have no idea about banger racing make programes about it. It's not the last man standing that is the winner, that's only for the destruction derby. It's the first car across the line after 12 or so laps. Dickhed!

Yep, the clue is in the name; "Banger RACING". 15 laps for a heat, 20 laps for a final, the destruction is merely a byproduct of the racing rules allowing full contact. Destruction Derbies are really only run for the big meetings like in this video so the drivers can finish off cars that otherwise wouldn't be worth taking to another meeting, and for spectators, like me, to try and beat the traffic getting out the car park. DD's are generally dull because the cars are too fucked by then to get up to a decent speed, all the best action is in the races.

you were on a winner with boxer as you would not have done many repairs as when he dos get hit and it breaks his car he is nearly in tears and moans like hell in the pits that's why no one hits him much one way street with him I have seen him many times
