I was really scared their team had scrapped the r&b songs because of SH doing well in the charts and stuff, but my hope has been restored! In an interview at the PCAs last night, they mentioned their fav songs off Reflection and most of them sounded like r&b! Also the tracklist came out today and it suggests that it's r&b too! Katherine Tan Ally's voice was loud enough to be heard, and she always gets all the high notes in every song. The management would rather let Camila sing for like 2 verses and all of the chorus on her own or with her mic tuned the loudest than let Lauren or Dinah sing more than 'a small solo'? Have you even heard Worth It or Sledgehammer? They get to like dance and nothing else. Stupid producers.

+Chan Daphne I'm all for both Lauren and Dinah getting more solos, but Lauren did have a solo in SH (albeit a short one, but her voice was very distinct) and Dinah got a solo in Worth It (granted not one that showed her vocals). Ally and Normani barely sung on their first album, but only a few complained. Lauren used to sing a lot, Dinah didn't sing a lot but got the hardest parts like the bridges in BT. They both got pushed to the back this album but all I see are "Lauren needs more solos" like 70% of the time and either "Lauren and Dinah" or "Dinah" like 30% of the time. So I'm not blaming you, I'm just sick of this fandom because half the L girls who complain about "Camilizers" are just as bad with their "Laurenizing" and then you have less than 50% of the fandom who are either a N D or A girl/boy or rarest of all a true OT5.

As usual not so loyal fans find something to complain about. Can we take the time to recognize two real factors here. 5H have arrived. The album drops in a couple weeks. They now have their first headlining tour. There should be nothing but positivity and excitement about this news. And whist it may seem weird to have Jasmine, Mahogany, and Jacob a part as opening acts. Let's not forget the major platforms 5H were blessed enough to open for. If it weren't for people opening doors for them they wouldn't be here. Moving on. Dinah's vocals, Normani's vocals and energy, Ally's adorableness, Laurene freaking sex appeal, and Camila's tendency to be pop and jazz all together make this cover! And yes Dinah did the damn thing. The girls slayed for fun and that's all that matters.

Ally and Lauren in the beginning! Really set the song. And that Jasmine V girl can sing! Her tone has that Proud Mary-Tina Turner grit to it. Love that. She could be one of the greats except she's missing the spark the other girls (incl Mahogany Lox) have. Performing looks like it's just a job for her. But Dinah Jane! Wow.
