I love this stuff. I was raised in Seattle and they start you young but it created some stomach issues and this has the benefit of being alkaline. Although I wouldn’t say it tastes exactly like coffee, it gives you a nice experience and can definitely help you get off coffee if you need to for health reasons. I mix it with a bit of dandelion coffee in a k-cup. Wonderful!

That was really nice of them they sent you that. At least it's very drinkable unlike much of the rest you have tried. I still love coffee though. I don't drink much of it anymore. I substituted it with beer.... I'm just kidding. I mean herbal tea. It's funny how i still really want that cup in the morning. I don't care about the rest of the day. I think Postum is the preferred Mormon coffee substitute. ;-) This one does sound good, regardless of my relationship to Jesus and caffeinated beverages.

I'm gonna try this...I go through phases of high stomach acid and coffee irritates it, usually I switch to chickory dandelion blend...this sounds much tastier

I'm intrigued after watching your video. I'm not a coffee person in the least bit, but I would give fig "coffee" a try. I love roasted figs with blue cheese and honey, sometimes wrapped in prosciutto.

If you mix that coffig up to 15% with coffee grounds up to 85%, you're gonna make Viennese Coffee Grounds, which is fantastic to brew and make the Cafe Viennese hot drink with, which again, is awesome.

I used to have a cup of Postum for breakfast in high school, back in the day when none of us liked coffee and only adults drank it. I thought that was pretty good actually . I don't think it's around anymore, though.

hmmm, maybe I should try this. I can't drink much coffee because it pulls water out of me and causes constipation. even when I drink a little bit it still does it. I hate it because I love the taste of coffee. I wasn't a big coffee drink. just drank it for the taste. lol
