Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Richter Belmont Statue
In the iconic Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Alucard, the son of Dracula, is awakened from his slumber after his father’s castle makes an unexpected return. Along with the castle’s return, Vampire Hunter Richter Belmont has gone missing. The game, originally released in 1997, popularized the term “Metroidvania” for 2D side scrolling games that don’t have a strict linear path to follow. Symphony of the Night featured beautiful 2d visuals in an era where 3D games were still finding their footing, an excellent story, and a number of secrets to discover. It also features one of the most celebrated soundtracks in video game history.
First 4 Figures is releasing a new statue of Richter Belmont, based on the gothic artwork used to promote the game. The resin statue stands over 20″ tall, and features Richter holding the Vampire Killer whip. An exclusive edition is also available, featuring an interchangeable hand holding a sword, a magnetic handle for the sheath, and an LED light up feature for the flask of Holy Water. Early Bird pricing is in effect until September 16th. After that, the price goes up.
The statue is currently priced at $589.99 for the Standard Edition, and $609.99 for the exclusive Edition. It’s scheduled for release in the Third Quarter of 2023. Pre-orders are available from the First 4 Figures Shop. Check out the new photos after the jump.
