LegacyWrestling.com says: Maryland Stars Place 3rd at AAU Scholastic Duals - One team from Maryland went to Fort Lauderdale, Florida last weekend for the AAU Scholastic Duals at the Broward Convention Center: Team Diamond Fish Pink. They were placed in the AS Pool A and landed in the third spot of the standings after posting a 4-2 record.
The leader of this school of fish was Bishop McNamara’s three-time state placer and runner-up this year, Rhonin Swenson (157), who posted a 10-1 record. Swenson was 5-1 in Pool A action with his sole loss coming against Pennsylvania’s Max Stein, who was second in the AA state tournament and is currently ranked 25th in the nation at 157lbs. Swenson was 5-0 in the placement pool and crossover matches.
