The dude can be doing a lot more to get a fight with Canelo but it will become too late soon because of his age. Simple rule I would change in boxing to make it better: Allow fighters to still be ranked by the other orgs even if they hold a word title! For example Booboo should be ranked No1 by WBC, WBA and IBF despite holding the WBO belt. He would basically be mandatories for the other champions, and vice versa.

@Anthony Mcken Floyd's early career was way different - he had already made a name for himself as 'Pretty Boy' and was fighting legit boxers because of his aggression. When he got older he relied more on the defensive techniques you see him use more recently like the pull counter and Philly shell - that's when he turned heel and went for the 'Money' persona...he already had people invested enough that they'd pay to see him lose. Yes Andrade doesn't have a personality but neither does Virgil Ortiz Jr. and look how quickly he's been getting bigger fights. Andrade just can't get away with it because he's bland outside AND inside the ring.

People talk about his competition, but the top guys/promoters are not wanting to fight him. He doesn't present any major gain, he's not a box office draw, he's an awkward style with skills and it would be very detrimental of any of the top guys lose to him while they gain practically nothing for beating him. It's simply unfortunate, the position he is in. I saw him live way back around 2009 in Connecticut. He's still awkward but a more mature fighter. I feel what will happen is he'll get "really old", finally get a big fight vs an up and comer, then lose and make that upcoming fighter look like a star. Andrade should have had big fights by now.

Andrade is no secret to the Charlo's or Canelo he was a 20008 Olympic silver medalist. He was ahead of them coming out he had a TV deal way back in 08,09 on ESPN Friday night fights so they know the threat he pose. That's why they are ducking him. I didn't know about the Charlo's or Canelo until a few years after I knew of Andrade. Andrade got a bad mix up on my business side that's been his downfall. They ended up getting more exposure than him in the end. So he's the one on the outside looking in now

I followed his career and remembered he pulled out of a Jermell Charlo fight at 154 literally for no reason at all. Ducked Derervyanchenko and Lara this guy should be fighting on Saturday but let his career go to waste and now he has to call out Canelo just to get some exposure. I like Andrade but he needs to get his career together and stop making excuses saying nobody wants to fight him.

Man. Nobody is surprised but Quigley got badly exposed. Andrade did what Andrade does, a lot of damage early in the fight. How he done it was impress though, his timing, his angles the way he changed the range, Quigley was like a bunny rabbit caught in the headlights. Andrade was impressive but it goes to show just how far away from being World Class that Quigley is.

Yep...that's what your supposed to do with C+ or B-- fighters, dispose of them quickly! This guy is explosive, awkward, and patient at the same time. His speed is deceptive and it's hard to see where exactly his punches are coming from. I see why Canelo would stay away from him. Well kinda...not really...because as an individual, you want to compete and fight the the best guys available. That is, if you want to be considered one of the greats, when it's all said and done.

Quigley is a Rocky Fielding or Avni Y. He was beat by Tureano who Munguía already beat in 2020 when Munguía looked nothing like he did vs Rosado. Andrade proved he is above B level and can knock someone out who is at the B Level. Hoping Andrade gets a real fight, Eddie Hearn it’s on you!

Quigley seemed to lack weight transitions to the point where Andrade easily found a home for his wide hooks and overhand hooks. Canelo doesn't have this problem, actually he has far fewer problems overall.
