A long time ago, a friend of mine told me "you know, Rob Halford's got that new band, Fight, right?" "Yeah." "Well, I heard they're shooting a video for one of their songs and they're looking for extras to be in the audience." So my friend and I went down to somewhere in the warehouse district of south Phoenix and we got to be in this video for Nailed to the Gun. It was a pretty fun experience. The studio recording of the song was blasting through the speakers and the band was playing along but not plugged into anything. They played the song over and over while the camera crew were getting their shots. And I remember they gave us free pizza afterwards. I just wish the video wasn't so dark, I've never been able to see it well enough to find my friend and me in the crowd. Filming went on late into the night. Good times!

@@alexzoris7216 you gotta be kidding me right? Rob Halford is The Metal God, for damn good reason. He DESTROYS Phil Anselmo on vocals EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. Yeah, Rob is getting up there in age now, Go watch Judas Priest on the Painkiller Tour. Phil Anselmo ISN'T GETTING CLOSE TO THAT.
@alexzoris72168 ай бұрын
@@JudasSlays2426 Rob Halford is indeed the Metal God and my favorite singer of all time, this doesn't mean that he can't get influenced from newer bands and artists. There are many examples of musicians who have done that and there is nothing wrong actually, on the contrary, it's healthy and fresh. Rob listens to many new bands and yes he likes Pantera too. He had even cooperated with them! The influence of Pantera to Fight's music, is more than obvious. Everyone who is not hearing it, is just deaf

One of the most freaky unique and awesome experiences of my life was seeing these guys at the Limelight in NYC back in the day circa 1993/1994 - too far back to remember the exact year. The Limelight itself is something out of Cyperpunk 2077 future vibe and I experienced it back then. At this show they/Fight came out about 2am and destroyed. Rob Halford sang most songs an octave higher than studio, something he was famous for in his youth. Then at the end Sebastian Bach came out for a cameo during the anchor. Epic is too small a word to describe that evening.
