In an emotional three-week journey during July 2023, twenty emerging filmmakers from fifteen different countries came together under the direction of OTOXO Productions to bring the documentary "Fight4YourLife" to life. The film delves into the lives of Paco and his training companions, who have found in boxing more than just a sport: a way to fight their addictions and rebuild their lives.
"Fight4YourLife" is born from the collaboration with the Fight4Fun project, a sports and rehabilitation initiative launched by the Welfare and Development Association - ABD Group since 2016. With the support of the Barcelona City Council, this project has become a beacon of hope, offering people in the process of reducing drug consumption a community where mutual support and the discipline of boxing are the pillars for a healthy and fulfilling life.
From its humble beginnings in the parks of Barcelona to the professional facilities of the DKSR gym in Poble Sec, Fight4Fun has demonstrated that sports can be a powerful vehicle for inclusion and social reintegration.
