Just watched Fighter and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The movie is excellent. Very well acted and directed. It’s very slick and the VFX are superb. It’s a great mix of actual scenes of Fighter jets and VFX. It’s a very modern and stylish movie that gives you a Hollywood feel with Desi actors. It’s nothing like Top Gun at all so please don’t compare. I would even say this was much better than Pathan. Well done to Siddharth Anand, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor and the supporting cast! I highly recommend this movie to those who want to watch something different. This deserves to be a blockbuster.

Fighter is superb .. I wasn't impressed with the trailer as again they showed anti Pakistan scenes but the making of the movie..including the performances..VFX of Air Force Fighter Jets, action scenes and the emotional elements is top notch..deserves to be a blockbuster...all supporting cast and the villain also deserves special mention for amazing performances..Great tribute to our Air Force...there is inspiration from Tom Cruise's Top Gun but we can proudly say this is India's best Air Force movie till date ...Hrithik is just mind blowing above all..in the climax when he is beating the villain to pulp with some punchline dialoguebaazi, it reminded me of Amitabh's heydays climax scenes..no wonder he is a true blue Superstar...Director Siddharth Anand (Bang Bang, War, Pathan) gets the best out of Hrithik always and Fighter surprisingly is Siddharth's best movie till date according to me...What also goes in Fighter's favour is that it's anti terrorism and not anti Muslim as one of the main cast who is part of Anil-Hrithik-Deepika team, actor Akshay Oberoi (Vivek Oberoi's cousin) is shown as a Muslim and his track is very heart warming ...also special mention to Bipasha Basu's hubby Karan Singh Grover who also plays a pivotal part in the same team..he is a very famous TV actor and has performed really well..the Villain is a discovery alright ..His name is Rishabh Sawhney and I think this is his debut and what a fantastic debut it is..he looks absolutely mean as hell in the movie and his heavy baritone voice makes the character all the more effective👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍

I must say this is probably the best analytical breakdown of Fighter and why it hasn't worked with the masses. This guy knows Indian movies and is right 85% of the time. However I still feel the movie was great. It was choppy earlier on the second half but over all FANSTASTIC movie.

I will never ever go by reviews by either critics or public!! I watched the film, from start to end everything about this film was amazing. There was no dragging or slow moments, all the actors did a fantastic job, the story, action was all phenomenal. I really don’t understand how pathetic movies like Animal, Tiger 3 and boring movie like Salar was liked by people and did well at the box office but not Fighter.

Sir your review truly reflects the reality. I am not a regular movie goer but Hrithik is my favourite actor and I was very excited for FIGHTER since the day it was announced in 2021. So went today for morning show but was totally disappointed. Reasons? I had many reasons and was sad the whole day, cause I was following the updates of this film from too long. But the only confusion I had was: Are my reasons real, or, this is how films are supposed to be, since I don't watch films regularly and don't know much... But when I watched your video, that gave me a huge relief. The reasons that you mentioned, were identical, totally identical to mines. I was especially disappointed by the template way or measured way of showing things. 3d also didn't make any difference. I totally agree with you that aerial action screenplay doesn't generate any thrill. Rather it seems like you're playing a video game of that kind. Sure there are some positives like patriotism and dialogues. Saw many 4 starrer Twitter reviews and don't know how they are being given. Thank you for your true and detailed analysis Sir. 🙏🙏🙏

Good review!!, watched Fighter a couple of days ago at AMC Mercado, Sunnyvale, Ca. And I agree with everything Komal Nahta talks about in this review. I think filmmakers must make movies when they have a compelling original story to tell that tugs at their heart strings. If your intention is right, audiences will connect. Filmmakers must not make movies simply for the sake of making one and churning up movies. I enjoyed War. That story was told beautifully. This one had elements of Top Gun Maverick not just in the air combat scenes but also in parts of the story line. And it’s frustrating when directors deny this. Audiences can see it for themselves. You can get inspired from a movie or situation but be original and fresh in your story telling. Audiences are spending so much money and making the effort to come to watch your movies. Don’t cheat them.

I am an air force veteran and saw this movie today. It is excellent in acting, direction dialogues, story... and not lacking in any respect. There were times when tears came spontaneously, so authentic were the scenes. You comment that scenes were methodically interspersed. No sir, they were smoothly done and spontaneous. Patriotism can never go out of fashion and post Gadar 2 also, it is welcome. I was in Siachen sector in1984.. Your comments are prejudiced and not true. You should pack your bag and go home.
