I’m going with Canelo, but if Mungia wins convincingly. I’ll definitely give him props, just like I give any fighter credit and props when they win in convincing fashion. Even if I wasn’t choosing that fighter to win, because I know it isn’t easy to get in the ring.

I like Diaz but why with his experience would he say Munguia dropped Ryder and Canelo couldn't? I mean he did! But that doesn't mean Ryder was not mentally there after that loss. Ryder was definitely not the same guy when he and Munguia fought. And yes I like both Munguia and Canelo, but I think Canelo may have a little more advantage yes there is age but also theres alot of Experience in Canelo and alot bigger fighters that also hit hard. Munguia is like a magnet for them gloves everything hits him. Team Canelo here but win or lose hopefully both fighters come out in good health! A little beaten up cuz of a food fight butnin good health.

To me, it depends on what style Canelo will fight with on Saturday. If he fights the way he fought especially at middleweight with his very fast and sharp combos & counters, also his great head and upper body movement to set up counters then Canelo absolutely out classes him. But of Canelo fights the way he's been fighting at 168 and above with that high guard, flat feet, and one punch at a time, then the much younger and stronger Mungia wins. I'm not sure why Canelo has changed his style at the higher weights but it is not a good choice.
