Corie, maybe try brushing your teeth with Sensadyne or one of those other sensitive tooth pastes. I've worked for a dentist for 24 years and Doc swears by it. I just work the front desk, nothing clinical but our patients tell us it works. You might need to use it for a few days or more before you notice but it really does the trick. I love your channels! So nice and cozy sitting on the porch with family. It brings back many sweet memories of my own family. Thanks for sharing! Hugs and blessings! P.S. Olive is adorable! She has the cutest personality!

Heck Yeah!, Sittin' on the front porch gunny sack of purplehull peas on one side and a BIG OL' mixin' bowl on the other. Now leave it up to my paw-paw, grandmother, to make a race of it! The winner got extra Ice Cream and vanilla wafers after dinner. we also snapped beans, stripped greens, ate corn and tomatoes right from the garden. It's a wonder we didn't have encounters of the wriggly kind, worms. We also picked OK-REE, squash, etc. Granddaddy ran angus cattle so he'd come rescue me from the Infernal Ok-ree itch to go "Count Cows".

Waaay back around 1979 we put up 1/2 gal jars of grape juice using a simple old time receipe: Wash the grapes in a shallow pan of water and remove any that float. Put about 2 heaping cups of red or black grapes in each jar and add about 3/4 cup of boiling water up to the shoulder of the jar. Add the hot lid and ring and process in a water bath about 40 minutes. Tighten the rings once tge jars are removed from the bath. Let the juice make for at least 3 months. The longer you wait the stronger the flavor. I was surprised how good this juice turned out and how many jars I got. I did try using quart jars but the grapes took up so much room that there wasn't that much juice to drink.

Tipper, It took me almost the whole video to figure out what your TShirt says. I've called Okra , Okree all my life. I never even hear anyone else here in Alabama say it like I do. I got a good laugh and thats worth it all. I say light bread, sweet milk, and several others I can't think of right now. I lived in Ohio for 40 yrs and they never heard of sweet tea...Oh my..How they missed the boat. I enjoy your Vlogs. Plz keep 'em coming.

How clever to fix the can like you did! I was trying to break up a rooster fight and missed the rooster and shot a hole in the feed can and it came pouring out. We didn't have money in those days and I was dreading when my husband came home telling him. All ended well. But too funny!

My son Daniel (27) hates coconut...both the taste and the texture. I love it! My Mama (will be 85 next month) makes the best coconut custard pie!! She says the secret is to take it out of the oven while it is still slightly jiggly in the center. Neither she nor my late husband liked bananas. When I made banana pudding, I would have to leave one end of the dish banana-free! In high school he ate a banana before football practice and it made him sick. That was the end of eating bananas for him.

This makes me miss my younger days.. even though we felt like we were slave labor for our grandparents and aunts and uncles.. I grew up in South Georgia and you could always count on some rain in the afternoons in summer. So we had to pick the garden early in the day. Then in the afternoons we’d either sit under the car port or under a big sycamore tree and shuck corn, shell butter beans and snap peas and pull peanuts. I can almost cry remembering those times.

That rain falling sure sounded good. Listening to your conversations makes me want to take part. When I was about 8 or 9 I had a smaller red and white collie with the name of Maynard G. Krebs, the most loyal and protective friend you'd ever have, not only of me but of my things. If I missed the dog I'd probably find him watching over a toy or something I'd laid down. Matter of fact that's how he was killed. I'd pitched my pup tent too close to a road. Nothing came around that tent, not a cow or a person, nor the neighbor's car. Having been nailed on the end of the nose by a squirrel he'd developed an intense hatred for them and he and I collected many a squirrel. Possums we collected by the tub full. All you had to do was sit on the porch and listen and as long as you go to him he'd tree them all night long. I'm 69 years old now and I still miss that old pup. Many a summer night when family or friends came visiting the ladies would take the inside of the house and the men folks the porch. They'd build up a gnat smoke and talk well into the night and I'd listen to them and the night sounds until I went to sleep. Those conversations would be about times and people they'd known, horses, and, of course, dogs.

Your girls just crack me up when you do a run on the camera like Corie did. :-) I so love all your videos. I just watch them & watch them. You have such a beautiful family. My grandma had a garden in Mich where I am from. I was always in the garden with her from the time I could walk . She taught all of us grandkids about plants & how to plant them. Out in the woods she showed us what wild berries looked like & when to pick them, Morel Mushrooms & taught us all how to fish & clean them then EAT them.. I have lived in NC (Aberdeen) for a long time. My husband was in the Army & we lived in Fayetteville for 8 yrs. I didn't like it--too busy & wild there. After he retired we moved to Aberdeen & liked it a lot better. I live alone now & am 74 yrs old. I don't care for Cable TV much but I found you all & watch you every evening. Thank you for the great Blog Tipper & all the videos from all of you.

Tipper and Matt, I gotta mention this again, You gotta grow STRIKE green beans.....Every time I pick em I think of you guys and Granny and how much you love growing green beans.....The beans average 5 + inches, I have 30 plants, they are bush type bean and I have a little better than half a 5 gallon bucket full, 20 or more beans per plant on most, they just hang in clusters.....Very good flavor and they are stringless, I use to plant 3 or 4 different beans but now I only plant Strike beans.....I pick every other day.....One row would have you wishin them mexican bean beetles would eat a few, Matt would be canning up a storm and Granny.....Research you tube for strike beans on MHPgardener channel, that is where I heard of them, Thank God!

We had a dog afraid of storms and the only place he felt safe was in the pickup bed. He would sit there getting wet until the storm was over.

Grapefruit with salt yum. People think its weird but I love almost every fruit that I've tried with salt. I do not like coconut though, maybe I should put some salt on it lol.

I always enjoy garden tours and listening to your conversations. It is like I a visiting with your family. I would say my favorite food is a fresh tomato sandwich with mayonnaise on white bread. I eat too many of them in the summer time. Tipper where I grew up a lot of people grew watermelons, my Uncle Jim used to grow some really big ones. From now on I will always think of toe nail clippings when I eat coconut! Thanks for this video. Dennis Morgan

Your garden is beautiful! I remember once, (and I was older mind you), I was helping my mom weed her garden. We were going a long really good, and I started pulling this weed I'd never seen before. My mom turns around and says " kathy, stop!!) I'm like freaked out, because of her yelling and sayng," your pulling out my okery!" Oh, I felt so stupid. Hers weren't big enough to produce any yet. I'd never seen oakry before. Out of many gardens we has, she never planted them. She was 63 and I was 30. It would be the last she'd ever had. We lost her that coming December. Fond memories though.

Matt likes the coconut ones, cause they smell like tanning oil....that's what I say, I love anything coconut or tropical for the same reason. Chap sticks, shower soaps candles are some of my favorites. It was fun hanging out on the porch with y'all. Your garden is amazing, wish I had that energy!
