I mean, to be fair, Springtrap is kind of a staple going back many games. But the necklace seems to have relevance to one short story out of several books, so it's much more of an obscure reference. The idea of being able to connect them would be exciting to a theorist.

Also the whole reason the FNAF series was created to begin with was because he got a scathing review of an earlier game and instead of letting the negative feedback tear him down he used it for inspiration. He was straight up "oh you think my characters are stiff and creepy and look like haunted animatronics? Well I'm going to actually make a game with haunted animatronics and do it well". Now that's ingenuity

I even saw someone who has like 300 subs and does fnaf videos and Scott sent him free merch. Theres also the kid who sent a letter to Foxy and Scott sent back a letter written by Foxy even with a tear as if it was made by Foxy’s hook. He is honestly just the nicest game designer ever

I feel like how Scott came up with Roxanne is the fact that it can be shortened to Roxy, which rhymes with Foxy. Wolves and foxes are pretty similar, and Roxanne does look a lot like Foxy. The name Roxanne might also come from the rock song of the same name by The Police, since these are Glamrock animatronics.

Where is she from? I have some suspicion about the "GNAMPF!" graffitti... it's quite a specific nonsense word that I've actually heard before. EDIT: Noticed on TVTropes her name is Claudia Schröder. Which tells me she's from a German-speaking country quite possibly. Which in turn COULD mean the graffitti is a shout-out to a puppet character on a TV channel for children in Germany(Kika - Kinderkanal), his name being Bernd the Bread. He used that word before, his night loop shows are legendary.

Then again, his life was on the line and this game was probably the only thing that could have saved him. Glad Scott is still with us. We still need him to give us lore clues. But yes. This game is talent mixed with the fear of angering an entire fan base.

I think that it was planned months before... FuhNaff looked at the voice acting which could be Security Breach but it's more likely about Fury's Rage (names like "Battlechick" and "Bulky Beefcake" seem to fit this game more)

Roxanne is derived from the Persian word for 'dawn'. Common short names for it are Rox, Roxie, and most commonly and most intriguingly: Roxy. It could be a stretch but that is very similar to 'Foxy'.

I have so much respect for Scott in general. He seems like a genuine, good humored guy who holds a lot of respect and love for his fanbase and games while also being exceptionally talented...just. He's definitely my favorite game dev at this point, even if I'm not a huge FNAF player.

Elenor the giraffe baby has the same neck type as the serving robots, so maybe this is her origin story? And the fluid in the tanks can be agony to power the huge robots, but the side effect is that they can break lose from there programming, which takes a little push from Glitchtrap to let them go on a rage mode and attack the kids.

Foxy being a Fox, you know in some double entendre the name has a different meaning. So if you going hardcore into music base with Freddy looking all David Bowie with the lightning bolt could it be a reference to the song by the band The Police.

Seems Monty's name is likely in reference to Monty Musgrave, who is said to be the origins of the "Gator Chomp" cheer in Florida. Not sure if there is any wolf connection for Roxanne's name, but there is some rock/80s connections to the name with there being a song called "Roxanne," by The Police, which came out around the 80s (1978.) (One thing I could think of it that Roxanne being a wolf could be in reference to the 80s song "Hungry Like the Wolf" no real basis for this idea, just a thought.)
