I vote for the Odin upgrade that doesn't require Tychus to pilot it. Numbers is a bit of a weakness, and this lets Tychus keep using his favorite minigun. Besides, it's almost like having 2 Tychus's on the field, which is more Tychus per Tychus.

I'd love to see the nuke on the Odin, but I think the most logical sense is to get the Odin without Tychus as the pilot so it can help cover a part of All-In, and Tychus can run off to do his own thing in the meantime

In regular Coop, Nux is available from the start and Vega is the very last one you unlock. We need to see more of her. Plus she's just more interesting of a hero in general. More fun is more fun, right? And of course we can't say no to the sixth outlaw, the Big Dog himself. Having Tychus AND the Odin is way more helpful than the rare nuke, especially when being pieced apart on multiple fronts.

I really love the design of the mineral race does not have to be won, WITH the addition of moving the last bonus to Mira's base. Either you win the race and get bonus easy, or lose but still has a good reason to bust Mira instead of just ignoring her, with ignoring still being an option if things looks too tight.

Combat SCVs is really good. After they mine out the entire map at the 8 minute mark, you now have something to do with them!

What's hilarious with Nightmare the Great Train Robbery is that the enemy builds so much stuff on the tracks the train stations are actually the less defended part of the map at the end XD

Grant, you keep saying that you're suffering from a lack of AOE, Nux solves that issue post haste as he's the best AOE Outlaw. Just triple Psi Storm and everything dies, plus his ultimate reduces the cool down of everyone else so it's a win-win. I understand the idea that Vega is the less used and more interesting Outlaw, but Nux will be far more useful in the long run. Mind control is less useful when everything you have is better than everything you can mind control (I can't recall if Vega can mind control Heroic units, because if she can't she's even less useful). Plus since you refuse to get Rattlesnakes Ultimate, you needs AOE for the Marine clusters and Zerg Swarms in later missions

The first outlaw other than tychus you recruit in a mission is always supposed to be half price. But for whatever reason on some missions like mobius factor it doesnt apply.

I feel like the dogwalker upgrade might be better overall just because you get to keep Tychus doing his own thing AND the odin at the same time, but that Big Red Button is such a meme so obviously you have to get that one.

I think the outlaws full cost vs half-cost situation occurs when you are still building Tychus. When you looked at it in a prior video Tychus had not spawned yet.

I really enjoy following you doing the story campaigns! In these different kind of versions, other then the normal option. New creations, units, ability options and ways to play it. Surely makes so much enjoyable to play and watch! I still struggle to see bonus objectives not being done when they are easy to pick up. But i guess thats just me 😄😄

You can actually have stim, and shields, if you actually buy the marine upgrades in the armory. For those units you often gate at the start of missions, and in the 1st Char mission drop pods as well, Gates of Hell.

2 Things: 1. You can move other stuff then the outlaws with the medics drop 2. The medics drop gives high ground vision you can use it on this mission to drop the back of the commanders base.

The first outlaw recruited per mission iirc is always the one half off. Thats how it works for co-op Tychus anyway.

Odin is Tychus' toy, we can't take that away from him. Also Odin with nukes sounds fun.

I’m pretty sure combat scvs are better just because the tychus faction already has access to insane sustain healing once you get rattlesnake or nikara so the extra regen is redundant also scvs being able to almost 1v1 zealots is pretty funny

Media Blitz so the combat SCVs can avenge all their brethren who died capturing the objectives on previous challenge runs. Also, an entire army of repairboys circling around an invincible Odin sounds fun.

Oh, small reminder: Rattlesnake's heal is %HP based, so he will heal more with higher health Outlaws. For lower health Outlaw, you would want to use Nikara.

Your first outlaw is at half price. Every outlaw after that is at normal price.

We are playing in this mod, as a super badass former military man, who runs around the galaxy to assemble a small group of best-of-their-kind elites, and gathers money and and alien tech to buy/develop unique specialised gear for them, preparing to go into a suicidal mission to an alien stronghold, while being supported by a secretive organisation that claims their allegiance to humanity, but has nefarious true goals. Hm, I wonder where'd I heard it all before... As for excess minerals, well, that will allow you to spam turrets if needed, while still allowing you to have fun outlaw stuff. And as for ghost heroes, I think it makes sense to pick Vega, as you've said you don't use her often

one thing that would've put this above and beyond would be to have mira han actually use han & horner units from co-op

This version of Cutthroat is the kind of thing I would want as a separate SC2 mod, where the missions have their gimmicks but very rarely are you on the clock. Like for Train Robbery, you can make the objective to destroy all enemy bases instead and missing trains doesn't result in failure, but instead makes it so the enemy gets a bunch of free units and retaliates. Or Supernova, remove the supernova, increase the cash on the map, and have the player push through beefed up Taldarim bases, adding in lots of inconvenient locations for Pylos/Cannons on ridges/pillars/etc to encourage Banshee strikes. Even this version of Moebius Factor has you taking to the streets punching your way to each objective instead of the intended dropship gameplay, and its so much more fun. Encourage the multi-base expansion gameplay with objectives pivoting to routing all enemies instead.

I love the research descriptions. It really makes it sound like Tychus is some jock bullying Stetmann the nerd. As for what to pick, I would vote for Dutiful Dogwalker. It more or less functions as a 6th Outlaw. Plus the mod is about Tychus so have the Odin be useable without Tychus in it means getting to use more Tychus! And while I love Tosh you did say you hardly use Vega in Coop, some perhaps this is a good time to play around with her for a bit.

Engine of Destruction seems like the best mission for Combat SCVs only, you're going to making a lot of SCVs anyway to repair the Odin. Also get to upgrade for the Odin to be without Tychus because more Tychus is 2x the fun.

If you're feeling a bit of an AOE slump remember that rattlesnake "green" Marauderman's ultimate gear is cone AOE on his absolutely bonkerville 100+ anti armour damage.

Considering how large SCVs are in lore compared to general infantry (even armored infantry), I would imagine being rushed down by a group of souped-up armored combat SCVs would be quite intimidating

The "First Ones on the House" is the upgrade. So, each mission, the first outlaw you pick, is half price. Love the series, and you, ya big doofus. =)

i like the dogwalker it lets you have one additional unit that alone is already a big upgrade it is as if Tychus could be in 2 places at once, increasing his firerate (Tychus as Tychus and as the Odin)

Get the Odin that lasts longer when doing the final missions for this campaign. That's going to be a great help you'll last longer and you get to call him in sooner. You're already going to be struggling against the massive waves with only five mercenaries plus whatever starting units they give you

Make turrets with your overwhelming amount of minerals. Fill the map with the sounds of gunshots!

Solar, or the mission where you fight Protoss and race the sun would be a ideal mission to use only combat SCV,s on. They can take a base and immediately start building. Saves so much time!

I don't really care which upgrade you pick, but I would like to see the "normal" Odin for one mission before you choose the upgrade. That way we get a direct comparison between the normal and the improved version

I think the most interesting place to do full combat scvs is Media Blitz, maybe take out the starport base with the odin, but there are tons of minerals there.

Hey while using medivac: you can left click to load medivac, then right click on minimap to move your camera there and then left click on grond to unload. Its a little slower but more precise. Also remember that omegalisks arent heroic and vega has a mindcontrol. If you lack aoe, Rattlesnake has it on his ultimate gear.

I would say Vega + perma Odin sounds fun

Love the idea of giving combat SCVs the upgrade bonuses for weapons. Feels very on-brand for the research.

Keeping the map covered seems to be the bigger issue in this mod. So it sounds more logical to go for that rather than Big Red Button.

Considering how you'll probably mine out on just about every mission, Combat SCVs will be great to give you more combat units to throw at the enemy by pulling the boys.

i think that you should go Nox if the tosh mission is changed to include Tychus and the rest or Vega if its just the same old Tosh mission but with Nox instead of Tosh

You should do mass SCVs on the first Odin mission. lots of repairing available when you need it, and missile turrets for flyer-based emergencies.

The escort odin mission could be good for scv only or maybe the overmujd tendril one
