Question for you. My friend car was behind a dump truck and a rock from the truck cracked her windshield. What do you guys do to prevent this and what could be done by her to fix the problem? Buffalo NY

Most of the time rocks fly from the tires and if a car is following too close it will nail them. In Ohio we aren’t responsible for anything thrown up from the road. So it’s really your word vs theirs. And some ppl lie about it and try to get free windshields so a lot of companies have been fighting not paying

@TJBS the truck company told her to file it on her insurance. I feel that's crazy because they can raise her rates based on filing claims. Next time I see a dump truck in front of me...I'm Givin it crazy space
