As a United States Marine, I would first like to thank each and everyone of Her Majesties Soldiers and Royal Marines for your Valiant service alongside us American's. I also want to express my deepest heart felt gratitude for all of your mate's who like many of my friends paid the ultimate sacrifice. All of you and all of your fallens families have been and will always remain in my prayers. I myself know all to well that deep pain and even deeper sadness you feel when you lose a friend a mate in combat. I served 2 tour's in Iraq and 3 in Afghanistan i was shot twice in Fallujah in late 2004 the last time i was wounded was really bad like your mate i lost 2 very close friends on that day in 2012 an IED attack killed my 2 friends in the ensuing firefight i was shot in my Lower right leg the bullet disintegrating 3 inches of bone taking me off my feet still continuing to fight back i was shot 3 more time's 1 in my left shoulder 1 in my upper left thigh and the one that almost killed me was in my lower chest where my plate carrier had ridden up causing my right lung to collapse and i started drowning in my own blood. By the grace of God i made it through. I would like to finish by saying Rest in Peace to all your fallen and God bless and God speed to all of their families also God bless and God speed to all of you and your families Semper Fi and thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your service.

I worked the international terminal in Boston for thirty three years,and ya some of the Irish and British accents were quite challenging to understand, but let me tell ya I would fight along side them anytime, that goes with all of our Allies , the Poles, Danish ,Norwegian,NATO, we cannot do it alone, thanks for serving from a Patriot in Boston

That’s what people don’t get about war in Afghanistan you can fire on the enemy position and not have a clue if you hit anything because they usually attack from what they think is a safe distance. That may work until the air support arrives
