So here we go, the beginning of something legendary.. This video is to show my first proper games of Hoplite Royale and showcase the reality of the game to give a honest perspective hopefully encouraging you to join and play! Please know not a huge amount of effort went into creating this for me so like and subscribe if you enjoyed cos way better things on the way 😃

remember that u can lose hp before pvp u can have 1 heart and heal to full hp when pvp starts, cause its looks like u are so scared of losing a single heart before pvp, like on hypixel

Zova, the amethyst only drops when the crystal is big enough, when you break it with it being small, doesn't drop you shards:). Also, you took a lot of damage when the guy sued himself cause you fell on the dripstone.

been playing hoplite since it dropped, get a party of 3 and go looter, archer, trapper and you can get artemis bow for each person easily, but for solos go warrior is best.

This server is so amazing, I’ve only gotten to play like 3 games but it’s honestly like the dream server I never knew I wanted! I stopped watching all Hypixel UHC content about a year ago probably, but I’ve always liked watching your content and I’ll be here for every video from here on out! Let hope hoplite absolutely thrives and all toxicity and cheaters are disciplined!

obitrapping is actually diffrent now, since you go into crawl mode (which is a good strat for mining btw), but its not impossible to obitrap. you have to make 2 obis tho, starting with the bottom one or you can also let the lava flow down, make the lower block a cobblestone and the upper one obi to save lava.

zova here's a tip - If you are holding forwards and try to do a crit hit, it doesn't deal the extra damage you have to not have forward momentum

Your gamesense is really good, if you learn how to release w to crit, instead of knocking them away, you can crit chain them, once you learn some good sword pvp you could be really good

In 1.20 if you try to sprint hit it will override crits, so you need to cancel your sprint before critting.

Also, when you fall on dripstone pick or idk what, you take extra damage, so be careful with that

And also for crits, if you didn't know, you have to stop your sprint to be able to crit people

I also definitely prefer 1.8, but that's only because I haven't really ever played 1.9+ combat, but I will have to disagree because the combat doesn't look boring and actually the combat is more complex and harder then the one I grew up with and main. 1.8- is simply too old to be considered more fun than new combat

You no longer need to aim because there is so much delay between hits and the only real new complexity is whatever you're going to do in the downtime between actions (and, I guess they reinvented blocking). 1.9 combat is slow and rewards cheesing more than tracking which is boring.
