A lot of fighters are respectful post fight. But prior they have to hype up their fight so trash talking is involved in order to gain more fan interest. Once all that is over the fighters go back to being their normal selves. Even Conor shows respect after the fight and trash talk is over. They understand how hard and brutal weight cutting can be, everyone's body reacts differently to weight cuts.

Real weight cutting is about nutrition... most fighters are on strict diets 8 to 12 weeks out from a fight and a lot of them hire nutritionists to help them make the weight in a healthy manner. You shouldn't be trying to cut 30 lbs in the time span of 2 or 3 days if you know your body can't handle stress like that. And Khalabeeb missed weight for the 3rd time in his career now.
