This thing is an absolute beast! Info for people who haven't played the game and would like context: The big face plate is essentially armor plating made out of "the strongest stuff in the universe" (that's all the game says 😅) and it moves out of the way to allow for the spike to extend. The spike stabs into captured specimens and extracts DNA samples. Whenever the EMMI catches Samus in the game there are two opportunities to do a melee counter to escape, but the timing is essentially random, making it almost a guaranteed death. There are 7 in the game, and they all have different colors. I was tempted to order 7, but ultimately decided against it

Just to add some in-game context, EMMI's weakpoint is its head. The extra faceplate is the armor to protect the weakpoint. Figma Samus comes with an extra accessory, the Omega Cannon, and is the only thing in the game that can break through EMMI's face armor.

He'd grab the Predator from the helmet and pierce right through it to extract its alien dna.

Because I know nothing about the game, until your hands entered the frame I had no idea how huge this was. This might end up being my first figma.

Metroid is one of my absolute favorite series.Ive unfortunately only played a demo of Metroid Dread & ive gotta say "Dread" describes the feeling perfectly. Im gonna end up getting a Nintendo Switch 4 this game alone! Im very picky about Metroid/Samus figures but i gotta say EMMI is a Dreadfully gorgeous figure!

I got mine the other day. I absolutely love it. Probably one of the best things figma has made in my opinion.
