Let’s hope that the SH Figuarts does better. They could’ve done better with regular Denji still. With Figma, I mainly look forward to the figures they do of video game characters like Doom Slayer or Demi-Fiend.

@@syafiqazizi6746 they didn't fuck up anything, it's just that this guy didn't even tryed to pose them correctly, the shoulders on deji and chainsaw man are the same, you can make chainsaw man look bad too if you rotate the buttetfly joints, like he did and didn't fix bc he doesn't try the figures off camera, if your only problem with the deji are the shoulders, that's not a problem

Maybe theyre working on something big tbh, with makima I bet it took a while because of the cloth coat but perhaps theyll pair aki with himeno

@@umimintsune0058 I doubt it it wouldn’t be very hard. It’s just a a guy in a suit with a ponytail. There wouldn’t be anything big to include. His coolest abilities are impossible to make into figures. They probably just think he won’t sell as well as other characters hence why he’s getting put back

@@umimintsune0058 he would sell, regardless, must be realistic. It’s just a suited body even if they included different torso and arms you can just reuse parts from Denji.

The shoulders do look better than Denji for sure. That jacket is a hard pill to swallow. It's like who tf said ok, ship it with zero ab articulation?! Cigarette looks like it's floating, wonder if hot water can fix it? Great review. 👍

Mine just arrived, and while I love the accuracy, sculpt and paint and some of the articulation, the hard plastic on the suit and lack of an ab crunch KILLS IT. Like damn, wth do they do this.

I think I can comfortably say that figma is going in the right direction, just on the stranger side for decisions. Great review, Ace. Aki wasn't the worst. I'm glad he wasn't Nanami 2.0 or the figma that shall not be named (akaza).

McFarlane is not the company you want your import figures to be compared to, let alone be outdone by 😅 seems like suits are not Figma’s area of expertise

For the price, i don't think it's worth it. For me, the face plates and accessories are the only good things about this figure. The torso articulation is really limited, the elbow joint is over engineered and ugly(its like yuji's but worse), the drop down leg joint is unnecessary and doesn't seem to help much with articulation, the shoulder is a bit gappy too. Its weird because yuta was a solid release(overpriced tho). Figma figures are very inconsistent.

funny how just as i was thinking these reviews could use a rating actually, id like to know at a quick glance when searching up figma reviews on this channel what the highest rated figures would be or what the "perfect execution" looks like, you went ahead and rated him and i was like oh well that answers that

This is becoming a real conundrum, not only for Chainsaw Man, but Jujutsu Kaisen as well. SHF is a much better value, and as I’m rapidly running out of space, I love the small footprint of their packaging. However, both companies offer deeper cuts that the other doesn’t. I don’t want to end up with duplicates like I did with Chainsaw Man and Power, so what to do? The best answer is to probably wait until both lines have run their course (at least with respect to these two IPs), but that would require patience, and patience is no fun at all! 😛
