Been barking up that hope-filled tree since MOM Samus dropped, so I couldn't agree more! Would be a great addition to the Metroid Suit version if it ever happens.. can't not have "Too Angry To Die" Samus Eyes with something like that!

The one thing that surprised me was the proportions. When put side by side with the concept art and when reproducing the standard poses of her standing still, we can see how little are the flaws if there are any. The “hourglass” shape is nailed. I got her into pretty sick Prime-style poses and even walking poses without relying on the stand and it was near effortless. I never had a “Metroid” figure despite owning the Meta Ridley statue (I’m getting the PVC of Samus) so it was just obvious that I “needed” that figma. After being retrospectively disappointed with the Doom Slayer, it’s great that the Last Metroid turned out as well as it does.

Literally the Metroid video of the channel. Confirming what metroid games and physical items your purchased. That intro sold how good the video was going to be. That “figure of the year” is deserving.

To be honest, while i haven't played any of the metroid games (simply due to the fact i haven't had a nintendo console in a while and the only one i owned a while ago is long gone) i actually intend to pick this up, i honestly liked the way the games looks, samus seems like an interesting character, the aliens she fights look awesome, and the color scheme for the armor looks really cool here (not to mention the figure itself is good), and i did see some of the different armor colorations and i wouldn't mind the purple armor from super metroid as a variant of this figure.

My brother loves Samus, but he is a giant of at least 1.80 meters, with giant hands, and he is very rough, so he was never able to pose the figure, I helped him with it and took some photos, and left it in a pose that he chose, he LOVED that figure, and for me it was very special to pose it, because at first I didn't know how, and in the end I finished like a professional with it, it was fun and I would do it again (I will buy a Biollante figure, and possible mind more figures)

Metalic paint detail is good. Spider magnet parts and morph ball the other option parts are well.

Yup, $80 if bought directly from GoodSmile’s site, at least over here. Seems every other site that wasn’t GoodSmile had quite the mark up in price. Weird. But given the final product… worth it. Hoping the same for the EMMI this year! Yeah, The Dread Suit really scratches a certain itch when it comes to Metroid suits, it really shot in up there as one of my favorites (in all iterations) next to Prime1!

Because it’s not directly Godzilla or Kaiju related. The algorithm doesn’t push what doesn’t make it money & sometimes viewers just aren’t interested. It also doesn’t help that I was pretty late to this one. It’s the punches you gotta roll with.

@@gameraisreallyneat Ironically I actually found ShinRobjira through his Figma Samus (Prime 3) review since I was searching for reviews of that figure on KZfaq, and his came out in the search results, and have watched every Metroid video of his since. So I actually do watch ShinRobjira for his Metroid content (as limited as it may be) more than for his Godzilla content.
